The major issue surrounding this episode was when nuclear weapons nations, India and Pakistan, did battle with one another over the Kashmir region, which both countries feel is in their respective nation. The White House scrambles, throughout the episode, to find a way to quell the violence in the area.

In the first scene, we saw members of the Pentagon surveying the region and discussing the attacks that have already taken place, including with destroyers.

In Josh and Donna's first scene, they were at The White House and Josh was telling her about his plans to go golfing and he asked her to be his caddy. Donna agreed to do it but she told him she did not think she would like it. Josh informed her she would love it but she replied that she did not know what was possible to love about lugging golf clubs around all day long.
