2. What was the name of Reed's boat?

Answer: Pretty Lady

In the opening scene, Reed was driving his boat in the water and it showed the back part of his boat where the name "Pretty Lady" was inscribed, thereby telling us the name of it. The camera then went to another part of the boat where Reed was keeping Jo captive.
3. Who was being held captive in this episode?

Answer: Jo Reynolds

Jo managed to get her feet into a position where she could kick the door to where she was being held captive so as to alert anyone who was on Reed's boat to help her. Nobody was on Reed's boat at this point so Reed went to go talk to Jo and told her the people he was meeting with did not have many chances in relation to business.

He also informed her that he understood she was hungry and thirsty.
4. Who read Michael a note that said he was to meet Sydney at the boathouse at 8 o'clock?

Answer: Matt Fielding

In Michael's first scene, he was at the hospital and Matt read him a note that said Sydney wanted to meet him at the boathouse at 8 o'clock that night and he was to dress casually. Matt told Michael how the note seemed like a joke and encouraged Michael to be honest with him about what was really happening. Matt told Michael he believed Sydney knew about his changing Michael's blood work to make it look like he was not over the legal limit the night he drove drunk.
5. Which actress played Karen in this episode?

Answer: Mary Wickliffe

Wickliffe had a small role in this episode as Karen, a nurse at Wilshire Memorial Hospital. This was the only episode of the series in which Wickliffe made a guest starring appearance. She has also guest starred on the TV series', "Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service", "House M.D." and "7th Heaven."
6. Allison told Billy they were done.

Answer: True

Allison flew to New York City to see Billy and she did not like what was going on with him. She accused him of being self centered but Billy retorted by stating he was successful and sensitive to other peoples' feelings. Allison decided their relationship was not going to work while they lived on opposite coasts so she broke up with him.
7. Jo told Reed she wanted to go to which city?

Answer: San Diego

Reed decided to release Jo from captivity so they were seen midway through the episode at the back part of the boat. Reed accused Jo of having her mind made up about him so Jo told him how he locked her up for a couple of days and he could not expect her to think highly of him. Reed told her that was for her own good but Jo did not respond.

She told Reed she wanted to go to San Diego and for him to drop her off there but he told her that would not be happening.
8. Who wound up dead in this episode?

Answer: Reed Carter

Reed was asleep so Jo went out to talk on the dispatch radio to alert somebody that she needed help. Reed noticed this and broke the dispatch and proceeded to attack Jo. Jo grabbed a knife but Reed kicked it out of her hand. As they scuffled, Reed managed to lock Jo in the same part of the boat where he had previously held her captive. Jo escaped and managed to shove Reed off the side of the boat but Reed grabbed on and got back on it. Reed confronted Jo but she found a gun and he was about to fire his flare gun at her but Jo shot him and he died.
9. Who told the harbor patrol officer that he/she believed Reed's boat was stolen?

Answer: Jake Hanson

There was one scene where Jake and Amanda were down at the dock and Jake told a harbor patrol office how he thought Reed's boat was stolen. The office told him that he could only do a routine check and that there was nothing else he could do until there was a missing report. He stated how it would be two days before a missing report would be filed.
10. Billy arrived back in Los Angeles.

Answer: True

Billy was seen near the end of the episode sneaking into Jane's apartment so she asked him what he was doing back in Los Angeles. Billy told her he would explain everything later since it was complicated but he asked Jane to do him a favor. He wanted her to call Allison and tell her she needed to talk to her. Jane agreed to do this for Billy.
