4.8 'Meet Kevin Johnson' Trivia Quiz

Answer: Michael Dawson

In a previous season, Michael brought four other survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 to The Others so he could reunite with his son, Walt, whom the Others kidnapped. Soon after this, Michael and Walt went to New York City and Michael let Walt's grandmother take care of him.

In this episode, Michael returned to the island and told Sayid that he was on a boat to die. Michael, in fact, died when he was caught in an explosion.

Miles debuted, on the show, at the beginning of season four when he was on a freighter several miles away from the island. Miles' prime objective was to get Ben Linus and, as a way of getting him, he offered his loyalty to the survivors but with a price tag of three million dollars. John Locke told Sawyer about Miles' offer and Sawyer was skeptical on Miles.

In this episode, Michael did some repair work, for the freighter that he was on and that was used to get Miles to the island. He told a man named Jeff that they needed a pressure valve and asked Jeff to get one from the supply room. Immediately after this, Michael told Sayid he should not have been there since Michael said, if the men knew who Sayid was, both he and Sayid would be in trouble.

Michael flashed back to a time when he worked on a boat and encountered a woman named Naomi Dorri. Michael guessed that Naomi was from Manchester and she told him he was correct. When Naomi met Michael, he gave her the name of "Kevin Johnson." Actress Marsha Thomason (who happens to also be from Manchester) originated the role of Naomi Dorri on "Lost." For two seasons, she was Nessa Holt on the defunct NBC primetime series, "Las Vegas."

Michael planned to blow up the freighter that he was on so those that were on board would not harm any of the Oceanic Flight 815 survivors. A woman appeared to Michael, in a hallucination of his, and told Michael to not blow up the boat but Michael decided to press the "execute button." The timer counted down, from ten to zero, but all that happened was a slip of paper popped out that said, "Not yet."

Answer: Nicholson

Michael went to the bathroom to contemplate what to do after his first attempt to blow up the boat failed. As he sat there, he threw a ball back and forth at the wall and someone came in and asked him if he was going to go Nicholson on him. Michael asked him what he meant and he told him how Jack Nicholson's character from "The Shining" would throw a ball back and forth, against a wall, to contemplate his next move.

Answer: Ben Linus

Michael wondered how Walt was doing and he thought that Walt was on the other end of a set of headphones he found. Michael put the headphones on and asked for Walt. Ben was on the other end and told Michael that Walt was still in New York and Michael was stuck with him.

Answer: Karl

Ben's daughter, Alex, went off to find a sanctuary, on the island, with Rousseau and Karl. Along the way there, Karl stopped and told Alex he did not trust her father and Alex responded that she did not like following Ben's orders either. Shots started to ring out and Karl was shot dead. Rousseau also happened to be shot dead, as well. Alex surrendered to those who shot at her, Karl, and Rousseau.

Answer: Jack Shephard

All of the above characters were on this showing of "Lost" except for Jack Shephard. Jack is a doctor and we learned, in previous seasons, that he had a rocky relationship with his father. Jack was close to Kate Austen and stood by her, even after he found out she was a convict.

Answer: Sun Kwon

Like many "Lost" characters, Sun did not appear in a couple episodes due to the series at times focusing on just a select few for an episode. "Meet Kevin Johnson" was one such episode where Sun was absent.
