Jack is insistent that they must maintain a consistent story, albeit false, in order to protect the survivors on the island. They all agree with the exception of Hurley. Jack queries each one in turn and they all tacitly agree. Hurley disagrees. He further claims that someday Sayid will need his help, and that Hurley will not provide it.

Hurley has been driving erratically, and after pulling over to the side, Ana Lucia appears at the window. She chastises Hurley for being irresponsible and gives him explicit instructions on how to proceed. "You need to pull it together. Do not get arrested." She also enigmatically says, "Oh yeah, Libby says, "Hi.""

3. Sawyer finally gets a shirt to wear. From whom does Sawyer get a shirt?

Sawyer finally gets a shirt. Finding a shirt, Sawyer wants to know whose shirt it belongs to. Neil says that it is his shirt. Sawyer wants to know if he can have the shirt. Neil pessimistically replies that they are all going to be dead by sundown. Sawyer says, "I'll take that as a yes, Frogurt."

Sun invites Kate to her home. They discuss the possibility of Aaron and and Ji-Yeon, perhaps playing together. Sun tells Kate that she doesn't blame her for the demise of Jin, but implicitly suggests that Jack is at fault.

Ben arrives at a butcher shop and is greeted by the proprietor named, Jill. Jill seems to know the entire scheme of things, regarding the return to the island. She sarcastically asks how Ben managed to persuade Jack to return to the island. She asks, "What did you do, bribe him with some pills?" Ben defends Jack by saying that they have all been through a lot. Jill assures Ben that John's body will be safe with her.

Hurley arrives at home bearing the semi-conscious body of Sayid. Sayid is barely conscious, because of the attack from unknown assailants. Hurley's father is frantic. Nevertheless, Hurley's father takes Sayid to Jack, but warns Jack to stay away from Hurley.

John Locke suddenly appears to thwart the attack of the Others. John intercedes, skillfully attacking the others. After the attack, extracts the knife from one of the attackers, and John says, "James, Juliet ... Nice to see you."

Answer: Hurley says, "Never dude."

Despite Ben's persuasive argument, Hurley is adamant. He says, "Never dude," and runs out of the house. He is immediately arrested by the police who have been monitoring the house.

Answer: "Then, God help us all."

The most enigmatic Ms. Hawking appears before Ben, after performing some extraordinary calculations. Ben shows great respect for Ms. Hawking, who seems to exhibit extraordinary knowledge. She tells Ben, in no uncertain terms, that he must complete his task of transporting everybody back to the island, within 70 hours, or purportedly everyone involved will perish.

It's at this point that Dan notices the blood emanating from Charlotte's nose. Here, he realizes that she is possibly suffering from the effects of time travel.
