After the turbulence subsides, Frank skillfully lands the plane on a strip of sand on an outlying island. The passengers are shaken and the co-pilot does not survive. Frank looks around and sees Sun, obviously shaken. Frank asks, "Where's everyone else? Jack and ... Kate and Hurley .. where'd they go? Ben appears and interjects, "They're gone." Frank wants to know where they have gone, but Ben simply says, "How would I know?"

Answer: Kong

Hurley is the first to hug Sawyer. He lifts Sawyer from the ground in a moment of joy. Sawyer is genuinely glad to see Hurley, although he tells Hurley, "Easy on the ribs there, Kong."

Answer: Locke is dead.

Sawyer exclaims that John Locke succeeded in bringing the survivors back to the island. In reply to Sawyer's question about John's whereabouts, Jack sadly replies that John has died. Jack declines to elaborate and says, "Doesn't matter. He's gone," in response to Sawyer's question about his death. Even so, Sawyer has news as well.

He tells the party that they have arrived on the island in 1977.

Answer: Ben leaves the group, intent upon returning to the main island.

After Ben hears Caesar declare that, "Down the beach, you can see a bigger island across the water," Ben realizes where he is. He decides to travel by boat to the main island. He tells Sun, "I'm sorry, Sun, but waiting doesn't interest me much right now. There are three outriggers near here. I'm gonna take one. So you can come along and help me row."

Answer: Ethan

Juliet wants to edit the submarine manifest, so that Jack, Kate and Hurley will appear to be legitimate DHARMA Initiative recruits. Juliet is admiring the baby and asks Amy, "Have you and Horace decided on a name?" Amy replies, "Yeah, we have. We're gonna name him Ethan."

Answer: Sayid

Miles tells Sawyer that, "There's a 14-J at the Flame." Radzinsky has received an alert. He states, "Grid 325. Motion sensor alarm was tripped. We got a Hostile inside the perimeter." Jin rushes out to the spot and meets Sayid. They are happy to see each other, but Jin must treat Sayid as a true Hostile after Radzinsky arrives.

Answer: Jack has been assigned to work in the Shed as a Workman.

Dr. Chang is a bit flustered, since he has had to fill in for Amy on short notice. Nevertheless, he finds Jack's card and hands Jack a DHARMA Initiative uniform. Dr. Chang tells Jack, "You've been assigned to the Shed." Jack notes the title on his uniform, which says Workman. Dr. Chang explains, "Based on your aptitude test, you'll be doing janitorial work." Jack appears to be mildly amused at the irony of his menial work assignment.

Answer: "Who's your recruiter?"

Unable to find Kate's name, Phil becomes suspicious and says, "You're not on my list, and you're not on the sub manifest either. Who's your recruiter?" Before Kate can reply, Juliet arrives to rescue Kate. Juliet tells Phil that she has the new list from Amy. Phil appears to be satisfied and says, "All righty then. She's all yours."

Answer: Christian

Christian Shephard introduces himself to Sun and Frank. Sun says, "I'm looking for my husband. His name is Jin Kwon. Do you know where he is?" Christian invites them in and finds a DHARMA Initiative photograph from 1977. Christian goes on to say that Jin is with friends. Christian then tells Sun, "I'm sorry, but you have a bit of a journey ahead of you."

Answer: Ben

Sawyer tells Radzinsky to get some food for Sayid. A short time later, a boy arrives and tells Phil, "Hey, Phil. I'm just gonna go in there and deliver him a sandwich." The young boy approaches Sayid and says, "Hello. I brought you a sandwich. I didn't put mustard on it, but if you'd like some, I could get some." Sayid replies, "This will be fine.

They exchange names and the boy says, "I'm Ben." Sayid replies, "It's nice to meet you, Ben."
