Annie is very interested in drama, and signed up to be on the backstage crew of West Beverly High's production because she arrived at the school too late to audition. With Silver's help, Annie convinced the Drama coach that she was worthy of being added to the cast.

At the beginning of this episode, Annie is dismayed because the Drama coach and play's director quit, leaving Harry with almost no other choice than to cancel the whole production. Annie's grandmother Tabitha, a retired actress, volunteered to take over. Annie was thrilled until she realized how demanding and embarrassing Tabitha was going to be. Harry and Kelly recruited Brenda to help Tabitha out, and Tabitha ended up handing the reins completely over to Brenda.

Brenda and Kelly were having lunch at the high school, and Brenda joked that she could still hear the cries of "Donna Martin graduates!", an allusion to a third season episode of "Beverly Hills, 90210" in which Donna Martin was going to be prevented from graduating her friends because she was found to be drunk at the Senior prom.

He didn't want to tell his dad what happened, so he asked the guy if they could avoid going through the insurance companies. The guy agreed, so Dixon had to find a job to get the cash to give him. He applied at the Peach Pit, and Nat agreed to give him a chance.

Ethan has an older brother with autism, and he was looking after him one afternoon when his mom needed a break. Naomi stopped by to talk to Ethan while his brother Stephen was panicking because the new cleaning staff had rearranged the living room furniture, and Ethan was desperately trying to make him stop before their mother got home. Naomi went over to Stephen and said he had to leave the couch alone, because they wanted to sit on it and watch a movie, with popcorn. Making popcorn successfully distracted him from worrying about the furniture placement.

Silver was quizzing Dixon on Biology questions, because they had a test coming up. Dixon wasn't doing too well on getting the answers right, and he ended up forgetting another important test because he stayed up all night after work studying for Biology.

Naomi, disgusted with having to play "happy family", found it odd that the rest of the family was taking the annual Christmas card photo while her older sister was out of town. Her mother said not to worry about it; her sister would be Photoshopped in later.

Naomi's mother said that Gail was just a fling and she didn't matter because she didn't even live in California, but Naomi couldn't accept the fact that her father was cheating on her mother, and she searched through his cellphone to find Gail's phone number.

She and Ethan went to Gail's workplace to confront her, and Naomi found out that Gail was moving to Beverly Hills to be close to Naomi's father. Not only that, she found out that her father is moving Gail into the family's beach house.

Earlier, Annie had turned down a date with Ty because she was supposed to hang out with Ethan. When she realized that Silver was right and Ethan wasn't totally done with Naomi, Annie tried to get back with Ty, but Ty wasn't interested in being her second choice. He tried to refuse the cookies, so Annie gave him a kiss instead, and he relented, giving her another chance.

Yes, Brenda finally revealed the identity of Sammy's father, while arguing with Kelly about her involvement with Ryan Matthews. Brenda said that Kelly would never be happy with anyone else because she is still in love with Dylan.

Frankly, I thought Dylan was far too obvious a candidate to be the father, but I guess they went with the obvious! Some clues also pointed towards Brandon, such as when Kelly told Ryan that Sammy's father is a "do-gooder type who travels the world working for charities", but then again Brandon Walsh is not the kind of guy who wouldn't be in his son's life.
