Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

1. "You know, lots of people lose themselves in love. It's no shame. They write songs 'bout it. The hitch is, you can't stay lost. Sooner or later, you have to get back to yourself."

From "Beauty and the Beasts". Buffy is seeing the school counselor, as required. Mr Platt seems like he will be able to help Buffy get through her issues, but is killed later this episode.

2. "The count of three is not a plan. It's 'Sesame Street'."

This was said to Faith in "Bad Girls" after a rough fight while patroling. Faith responds with a glib "Hey, they're toast and we're here. It couldn't have been too bad, right?"

3. "Ah, I love the smell of desperate librarian in the morning!"

Answer: Snyder

This is from "Gingerbread", when Snyder is confiscating Giles' books. Snyder is paraphrasing "Apocolypse, Now". A little heart of darkness-ey as Xander says in "Restless". Snyder makes a cameo in Xander's apocolypse-ish dream sequence in that same episode.

4. "'Cause you've got your hands full with the undead 'English Patient'."

Willow is referring to Spike, of course, in "Something Blue". Willow comes up with the idea of doing a truth spell to get info out of a recently neutered Spike. Giles wonders why he hadn't thought of that before.

Cordelia noticing Wesley in "Consequences". Wesley comes to town to replace Giles as Buffy and Faith's watcher. Cordelia clearly likes what she sees.

Willow questioning someones graffiti in "Band Candy". The parents who ate the candy all reverted to their teenage years. Apparently one of them was a huge KISS fan. This was a hilarious episode. Giles was so funny and seeing Joyce as his 'Ripper groupie' was great!

Faith noticing Wesley noticing Cordelia in "Consequences". Faith was one of my favorite characters and I look forward to her return later this season. Wesley responded with "Well, uh....where were we?" Wesley has come a long way!

Sunday in "The Freshman". After killing a freshman named Eddie, the vamps are raiding his room. Here, Sunday is referring to Eddie's taste in posters. I loved how this episode sort of flipped the roles from the first ever episode. Willow was confident, while Buffy is feeling all insecure.

I know it's easy but I love that quote. Willow telling Riley how to approach Buffy in "The Initiative". Willow first tells him to ask her to dance. Unfortunately, Riley can't dance, so Willow offers him this friendly advice instead.

The psychotic vampire Kralik is telling Joyce about his mother in "Helpless". Jeff Kober, who played Kralik, returned in season 6 to play Rack.
