Question 1 of 10
1. Racing against the time it takes Starbuck to run out of oxygen, the crew of Galactica sent several search parties down to the red moon. When we first got a look of Starbuck's situation on the desolate rock, we saw her encounter what problem upon waking? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. Adama, Tigh, and Gaeta discussed how Starbuck was likely either pulled in by the gravitational forces of two bodies; one was a gas giant in which Tigh said would "fry her like an egg" and the second was a moon that lacked any proper oxygen for her to breathe. They decided to search the moon to see if she had been pulled in there, and because of the its atmospheric conditions, how would the pilots have to search the planet (known as 'mark one eyeball')? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. After discussing that staying in the bunker on Caprica won't help get them off the planet, Helo and Sharon decided to pack up some food and supplies and move on. This plan is foiled, though, when what happened? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. On the moon, Starbuck happened upon the Raider she had shot down in space. When she discovered that it could be fixed to get her off the planet, she got excited and thanked the lords. In her attempts to get inside, she found a mechanism and a door opened up for her. Red, venous tissue covered much of the Raider's insides. Then we heard her say the infamous line, "Are you alive?" The show is playing on the fact that different circumstances can lead to peculiar parallels.
Which other character has uttered the same line?
Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. Arguments over whether to deploy the CAP (the Combat Air Patrol) to look for Starbuck grew heated when it was learned that the fleet would be defenseless against a Cylon attack.
Who supported Commander Adama in his deployment of the CAP?
Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Starbuck overcame the dilemma of running out of oxygen by having reserve tanks in her pack.

Question 7 of 10
7. When Starbuck was attempting to fly the Cylon Raider, she said that "every flying machine has four basic controls."
What are they?
Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. The fleet was to jump to another spot after Roslin's reprimand, seemingly leaving Starbuck behind. To whom did Commander Adama say, "If it were you [down on the moon], we'd never leave"? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. A Cylon Raider appeared on DRADIS right before the fleet's jump. Little did they know that the Raider was actually Kara trying to make her way back to Galactica. Because the Vipers were searching for her on the moon, and many were out of commission, only Hot Dog and Apollo were able to get to their Vipers, and Hot Dog had a malfunction. Lee tried to shoot down her Raider until she pulled a maneuver and started flying formation with him.
What was written on the Raider's wings that allowed Lee to know that it was Kara flying it?

Answer: (one word)
Question 10 of 10
10. The final scenes were of Starbuck in a hospital bed. Her knee was beat up from being on the moon, so she would need to stay in bed for a while. Who came and visited her and even gave her a cigar? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Racing against the time it takes Starbuck to run out of oxygen, the crew of Galactica sent several search parties down to the red moon. When we first got a look of Starbuck's situation on the desolate rock, we saw her encounter what problem upon waking?

Answer: Her parachute drug her across the hard surface of the moon.

Nearly taking her off a cliff, Starbuck was able to cut the lines of her parachute before any life-threatening injuries. She did, however, suffer a broken leg when she smashed into a large rock. Tired and helpless, Starbuck rested shortly before trying to make it to higher ground.

Answer: By eye in their Vipers

"Mark one eyeball", or searching by eye in their cockpits, the Viper and Raptor pilots looked for Starbuck but had little luck. Because their engines had to continually run, their ships were constantly being put out of commission. The search was not going well considering how little of the moon they were actually covering.
3. After discussing that staying in the bunker on Caprica won't help get them off the planet, Helo and Sharon decided to pack up some food and supplies and move on. This plan is foiled, though, when what happened?

Answer: Cylon centurions attacked and Sharon wound up missing.

Helo certainly couldn't have picked a worse time to use the toaster (which is ironically a nickname of the Cylons). When his breakfast popped up, and the centurions saw Sharon, the shooting began. Helo took on the centurions only to pass out. When he awoke, he looked for Sharon in the bunker, but she was nowhere to be found.

Answer: Number Six

We first hear Number Six ask "Are you alive?" to the diplomat at the armistice station in the very beginning of the Miniseries. We also hear her say it to Helo on Caprica. When Starbuck asks the very same thing to the Cylon Raider, we can see a wonderful parallel.

It may have seemed odd that the Six was curious as to humans being alive, but when Starbuck asked the very same question, some perspective is brought on the situation.
5. Arguments over whether to deploy the CAP (the Combat Air Patrol) to look for Starbuck grew heated when it was learned that the fleet would be defenseless against a Cylon attack. Who supported Commander Adama in his deployment of the CAP?

Answer: Lee Adama

In fact, Lee was the very person who suggested deploying the CAP in the first place, something he later admitted to the president. Roslin was adamantly against its deployment and she even went aboard the Galactica to reprimand the Adamas. Colonel Tigh and Felix Gaeta also protested, though Tigh's protests were direct while Gaeta's were slight and he showed his disapproval through uneasy glares.

The Colonel's protests even got him relieved.
6. Starbuck overcame the dilemma of running out of oxygen by having reserve tanks in her pack.

Answer: False

Although Commander Adama suggested such an outlandish idea, Starbuck didn't (as Tigh said) "happen to pack an extra bottle today." When Kara found the Cylon Raider, she noticed that it was part biological, therefore there had to have been an oxygen source.

As she ran out of the air in her tanks, she discovered where the oxygen source was and cut its lines, filling the Raider with the much-needed oxygen.
7. When Starbuck was attempting to fly the Cylon Raider, she said that "every flying machine has four basic controls." What are they?

Answer: Power, pitch, yaw, and roll

Starbuck's background in aviation made it possible for her to figure out how to control the Raider. When she finally figured out the four basic controls, she flew the Raider off the moon and headed home for Galactica.
8. The fleet was to jump to another spot after Roslin's reprimand, seemingly leaving Starbuck behind. To whom did Commander Adama say, "If it were you [down on the moon], we'd never leave"?

Answer: Lee Adama

Lee and the commander had realized that their motives for keeping the fleet in danger for so long to look for Kara were likely drawn back to Zac Adama's death. Starbuck was their last link to him, and if she died, that link would also die. Because they were going to leave Starbuck behind, Lee wondered what would happen if he had been the one in her place.

His father said that he didn't have to ask and when Lee pushed him harder, he said in an emotional moment that they would never leave.

Answer: Starbuck

Flying her new toy, Starbuck outmaneuvered Apollo in the Raider, hoping not to get shot. Although he did clip her at one point, Apollo was mostly unsuccessful in his attempts to shoot her down. Kara was careful not to shoot at Lee at all, so that she would seem friendly, but that didn't seem to help.

When the Raider started acting weird and flew formation, Lee was surprised until he saw her flip the ship where "Starbuck" had been written in yellow tape.
10. The final scenes were of Starbuck in a hospital bed. Her knee was beat up from being on the moon, so she would need to stay in bed for a while. Who came and visited her and even gave her a cigar?

Answer: Commander Adama

Adama felt he had lost Kara, but she had found a way to get back to Galactica. On the verge of tears, the two shared a moment of unspoken affection. Adama cared for Starbuck as if she were his own daughter, and after the fact that he had dismissed her when she told him about Zac's death, she was happy that he still cared about her.
