"You're the one who let the Cylons into the Defense mainframe. You betrayed your entire race. You're the man responsible for the holocaust, and I'm here to see that you're exposed and sentenced to death as the traitor you really are," said Shelly Godfrey, assistant to Dr. Amorak. Godfrey had a disk that apparently was evidence of Baltar with an explosive device.

She was indeed a Cylon, but this was known only to the scientist. We saw her break down Baltar effectively, playing with his mind and forcing him to admit things he didn't like to admit.

Several people tried to get her out of her bed, including Colonel Tigh. When Kara's latest attempt failed, the doc told her, "I'm weaning you off the magic pills." She was unhappy to say the least. She eventually got up to help the Chief figure out the Cylon Raider.

The effects of the cancer had become more apparent on Roslin and her weakness had become too much while she was talking to Baltar. She passed out, and when Billy called the doctor to the Colonial One, he did it on an open line. The result was that most everyone in the fleet heard the announcement that the president had collapsed. We then saw Doc Cottle scolding the president because she had taken three times the dosage of her medication.

When Roslin wanted a shot (presumably of adrenaline) to stand up confidently in front of the people, she started to roll up her sleeve. "It's not that kind of shot," Cottle remarked, and Roslin gave him a hesitant look.

The Six in Baltar's head, who had been absent nearly the entire episode, returned right after Baltar asked for God's help. Almost immediately, Gaeta came to his cell to tell him that the evidence had been one big hoax. Baltar was publicly exonerated and welcomed back into the community of the fleet. Shelly Godfrey mysteriously disappeared from the fleet.

It seemed that the Six's plan all along had been to give Baltar his "trial by fire" and forever dislodge any thoughts about his treason in the future. And she had done it all by breaking him down.
