Although Melinda Messenger is a former judo expert, she couldn't beat Les Dennis at sumo wrestling! The only house member who declined to participate in this competition was Goldie. I wonder if he was worried about hurting Les or being beaten by him?

2. Day two also saw the first live task take place. What was the first part of the task the housemates had to complete?

Answer: Hook-a-Duck Challenge

For the first part of their task all housemates had to try and hook ducks from the pool. Each duck was worth fifteen seconds with the red coloured duck worth thirty seconds each. The time they won from this game was how much time they had to complete the second part of their challenge.

They then had to attempt to collect their weekly shopping using a mechanical digger to lift the shopping from one area of the garden to another. Goldie agreed to do the task. He emerged victorious by managing to acquire nearly 90% of the household shopping - including the toilet rolls!

3. On day three the first round of nominations took place. Which two celebrities were nominated?

Anne, Les, Melinda and Sue all voted for Goldie. Mark, sue and Goldie voted for Les. These two went head to head for the viewers to decide who should be evicted. On day five, Goldie became the first person to be evicted from this series of 'Celebrity Big Brother.'

4. What was unusual about the second round of nominations made?

Answer: One person chose the two housemates to be nominated

The person who had performed the most poorly in that nights task had to pay a penalty. That penalty was to choose the next two people to put up for eviction. Les Dennis had performed badly in the task and had to choose the two people. He chose Sue and Anne as he felt they were the two who would cope the best with the news.

The task set was to complete an assault course in as short a time as possible as a whole group. The housemates did fairly well and two people got to see a taped message from home. Mel, Sue's comedy partner and old friend provided the message to Sue while Melinda's message was from her husband, Wayne wishing her a happy wedding anniversary.
