1. Where was the monster in the painting?

Answer: The church window

Vincent painted the Krafayis in the window of the church in his painting "The Church of Auvers".

2. What color does Vincent say Amy's hair is?

Answer: Orange

When sitting in the cafe over a drink that Amy bought for him, Vincent comments that Amy's hair is very orange, and Amy answers that his is too. The two continue to flirt until the Doctor interrupts and asks about the church.

3. Why does the Doctor think Vincent is having some sort of fit?

Answer: Because he's fighting a monster only he can see

Vincent and the Doctor are having coffee when they hear Amy scream from outside, they rush out only to find Amy is alone. Vincent then sees the Krafayis and tells Amy and the Doctor to run, but the Doctor stays, thinking at first he is having some sort of fit, then realizes that they are fighting a monster only Vincent can see.

4. What two animals did the mirror-machine think the Krafayis is?

Answer: A parrot and a polar bear

After rummaging through lots of junk, the Doctor finds the mirror-machine and tests it by making a goofy face into it. Then he scans the picture that Vincent painted of the monster and at first it said it was a parrot, then it switched to a polar bear.

5. What did Amy want Vincent to paint?

Answer: Sunflowers

The Doctor wakes up Vincent and they go outside to find Amy surrounded by sunflowers. She asked Vincent if he might want to paint them but he never got the chance to because the Doctor swept them off to the church right after.

6. On the way to the church, Amy and Vincent were talking and Vincent asked Amy about something related to a previous episode. What did he ask her?

Answer: Why are you crying?

On the way to the church, Amy and Vincent talked about Vincent being so sad, but he insisted that he was not sad, and "that if Amy Pond could keep soldiering on, then so could he". Amy said she wasn't soldiering on and she was fine, and Vincent asked her why she was crying then.

7. Vincent asked Amy if she would follow the Doctor into the church. What was her response?

Answer: Of course!

The Doctor had one rule for Amy: not to follow him. After he entered the church Vincent asked if she would follow him Amy answered with "of course!" and he responded "I love you".

8. What happens to the Krafayis in the end?

Answer: It dies

While the Doctor and Amy are talking, Vincent is warding the Krafayis off with wooden spikes. It falls into the spikes and bleeds to death. It makes painful noises that the Doctor translates as 'I'm afraid'.

9. What did Vincent say that the Doctor has done that no one else has?

Answer: Made a difference in his life

After the trip to the museum, Vincent stepped out of the Tardis and said they had opened up his eyes, and that the Doctor was the first person to actually make a difference in his life.

10. At the museum, what message was waiting for them on one of the paintings?

Answer: For Amy

After they had dropped Vincent off in his own time, Amy and the Doctor went back to the museum. Amy wanted to see all the new paintings they had inspired, only to find that Vincent had not made any new paintings in his still, short life. But, on his painting 'Sunflower' on the vase was the simple message "For Amy".

This reminded her that she and the Doctor had both made a difference in the life of Vincent Van Gogh.
