Gregory is King Kai's loyal pupil and is offended by Goku's not appreciating King Kai's sense of humor. He thinks Goku does not have any respect for King Kai and charges into him at full speed.

Goku struggles to even pick up the hammer in the planet's increased gravity. Before long, though, he is chasing Gregory around with it.
