"Faerie Tale Theatre": "Princess and the Pea" Quiz

A couple accidentally touched the glass covering a single pea. The museum guard told them not to touch the glass and then the guard started to tell the tale of the pea.

Fool was trying to tell Richard a joke and with Prince Richard being depressed, the joke didn't go over well.

He was in his bedclothes and was playing Go Fish alone when Princess Alicia arrived unexpectedly.

Since Alicia was soaked to the skin and had twisted her foot, she needed a place to stay for the night. The Queen hated uninvited house guests so Richard took her over to Fool's room and ordered Fool to sleep in the stables.

They were black with white covers on them and Queen Veronica called them atrocious and ordered the shoemaker to tend to them. Prince Richard then told his mother he wanted to marry a princess causing his mother to think it was all about a house guest. She finally relented and had numerous princesses come for the royal interview.

When the royal butler called out, "Number 13", she was totally clueless needing the other princesses tell her, "That's you dear." Princess Rebecca liked birds, prompting Richard to think she liked to watch various species, map the migrations, etc. but all Rebecca liked to do was watch them eat.

Prince Richard was giving Princess Elizabeth a tour of the palace when she turned her nose up at the thrones and said they had to go. Richard finally told her, "For the past few hours you've been rude, arrogant and not a great deal of fun." She didn't care as all that mattered was Queen Veronica's word.

Prince Richard was giving a tour of the palace to Princess Alicia when they were nearly caught by Queen Veronica. They then declared their love for each other and were kissing when Queen Veronica caught them. When Richard introduced Alicia to Veronica as the woman he loved and wanted to marry, Veronica fainted.

Queen Veronica didn't trust Princess Alicia's story about being a princess but Richard thought she was more of a princess than all the others put together. Queen Veronica led Princess Alicia to a room with 20 mattresses, each separated by blankets. After Alicia climbed the ladder Queen Veronica placed the pea near the bottom of the stack and let the ladder fall down on purpose.

Alicia told Richard he had to kiss her and if he was a real prince then she'd hear trumpets playing, bells ringing and stars exploding. He kissed Alicia and she heard the trumpets, bells and stars. "Congratulations," she barely whispered. They were later married and spent their wedding night on top of the 20 mattresses without the pea.
