Question 1 of 10
1. Nobody likes Mondays, but at least watching "How I Met Your Mother" can ease the pain. The show loosely centers on a middle aged man talking to his children and telling them the story of how he met their mother. Along the way, we hear about his often hilarious adventures with his four close friends living in New York City. What famous television star provides the voice of the unseen narrator? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. Since Mondays can be so difficult, it helps to have a double dose of laughter, or perhaps even two and a half doses. Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer serve as the two title men in "Two and a Half Men," but what younger actor is referenced as the 'half man'? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. On Tuesday nights I watch the only pure drama of all my favorite TV shows, "NCIS". While I enjoy the crime solving, forensic evidence, and story developments, what really sets the show apart is the cast interaction. This interaction is undoubtedly the result of many of the characters appearing in every season of "NCIS". Which of the following main characters joined the show after its first season? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. Wednesday is a light night of television for me, but I make it count by watching the hilarious "Modern Family". Despite its farcical nature, the show manages to portray a family's love, even though its members are flawed. Despite his discomfort, Jay attempts to learn salsa dancing in order to go dancing with his wife Gloria. Who is Jay's son, who comes to his rescue by providing him with a "special" pill to help him lose his awkwardness? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. While Wednesday is a light television day, I make up for it on Thursday, as there are five shows I like to watch. Usually I start my Thursday evening off with an episode of "The Big Bang Theory". The show follows the lives of four intelligent scientists who have limited social skills. While all four characters have their own interesting foibles, which character is limited by his inability to talk to females unless he is intoxicated? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Since scientists on "The Big Bang Theory" don't like to go outside, it may seem like a good idea to get some fresh air on "Parks and Recreation". Unfortunately the show takes place mostly in an office setting, but it is consistently one of the funniest shows on television. Leslie Knope is the overly-optimistic Deputy Parks Director of Pawnee's Parks and Recreation department, surrounded by office mates who do not share her level of commitment. What is the name of Leslie's boss, whose libertarian views actually make him opposed to his own job? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Keeping with the office theme, I then move on to "The Office". Like "Two and a Half Men," the show had to deal with replacing a huge star in 2011 after Steve Carell left the show. In order to deal with the loss, James Spader was brought in as the new CEO of the company, Robert California. What former salesman was selected by Robert to be the new regional manager? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. As it gets a little later in the night, I need something a littler crazier to grab my attention. Luckily, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is really crazy, following the ridiculous and sometimes obscene choices made by a group of friends who own a bar. Despite being on a cable channel, it has become so popular that one of its stars hosted an episode of "Saturday Night Live". Which star got a chance to appear on broadcast television by hosting the famed variety show? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. Just before I head to bed on Thursday, I have to catch the latest episode of "The League". The series is a partially improvised comedy which deals with several friends who are in a fantasy league. The friends go to outlandish lengths to outdo each other in the league as well as in real life. What type of sport is the focus of the fantasy league? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. TGIF! The end of the week has arrived and I'm ready for a relaxing weekend. There is nothing relaxing though about the characters on "Chuck", a group of spies who go on intelligence missions to take down criminals. The fifth and final season began in 2011. Which member of Chuck's team, who has an affinity for Ronald Reagan and guns, is likely to provide some serious firepower? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Answer: Bob Saget

Bob Saget provides the voice of Ted, the middle-aged father, while Josh Radnor portrays the younger Ted on screen. While on his quest to find his soul mate, Ted hangs out with his former girlfriend Robin, womanizing friend Barney, his old college roommate and best friend Marshall, and Marshall's wife Lily.

It is implied that all the hilarious and emotional moments of the show are setting Ted up to meet his future wife. Daniel Stern provided the narration for the hit show "The Wonder Years" and Ron Howard provided the narration for the critically acclaimed series "Arrested Development".
2. Since Mondays can be so difficult, it helps to have a double dose of laughter, or perhaps even two and a half doses. Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer serve as the two title men in "Two and a Half Men," but what younger actor is referenced as the 'half man'?

Answer: Angus T. Jones

Angus T. Jones portrays Jake, the son of Alan Harper. Charlie Sheen portrayed Alan's brother, Charlie, but was infamously fired from the show and his character was killed off prior to the start of the season. Alan and Jake had lived with Charlie and were forced to find a place of their own. Fortunately, Kutcher's warm-hearted billionaire character buys Charlie's house and allows Alan and Jake to stay in their old home.

Despite Jake's maturation from a young child into his teenage years, the show's title still refers to him as a "half man".

Answer: Ziva David

Ducky, the Medical Examiner, and Abby, the forensic scientist, were original cast members, joined by Special Agents Kate Todd and Tony DiNozzo, as well as the team leader, Gibbs. McGee appeared as a recurring character later in the first season before being promoted to a field agent, joining Gibbs' team at the start of the second season. Ziva did not join the show until the third season, when she effectively replaced Kate, who was killed in the line of duty to end the second season.

Answer: Mitchell

After Gloria decides to go salsa dancing without him, Jay determines to learn the dance. Originally he enlists his stepson Manny's help, but he dances very reservedly, unable to lose his inhibitions. Mitchell offers him a "special" pill to help, and Jay is able to get over his insecurity and join Gloria on the dance floor. Mitchell reveals to the camera that the pill was baby aspirin and was only a placebo to help Jay with his fears.

Answer: Raj

While there are many people who probably like to claim alcohol as a liquid courage, it really is the case for Raj. When Penny or any other attractive female is present, Raj is incapable of speaking, being reduced to using only his body language or whispering to one of his male friends. One day Penny makes him a grasshopper drink, and Raj is able to speak to her.

It is revealed that this is only a placebo when he is able to approach actress Summer Glau and talk to her despite drinking a non-alcoholic beer. Eager to approach Summer himself, Howard points out that Raj's beer is non-alcoholic and Raj is rendered speechless.

Answer: Ron

Ron is Leslie's immediate superior whose libertarian views cause him to dislike government spending despite the fact that he holds a government job. He is openly ecstatic when Pawnee cuts departmental funding and favors employees like Tom and April because their distaste for work effectively slows the government down.

Despite his viewpoints, he will often intervene when necessary on Leslie's behalf because of his respect for her. Despite his distaste for his job, he serves as somewhat of a father figure to the younger workers.

Answer: Andy

In a surprise twist, Andy was selected to be the new regional manager despite being one of the poorer salesmen of the office. Dwight was given the job on an interim basis, but after accidentally firing a display gun in the office, he was reassigned to his former position. Even Andy seemed surprised at his selection and he asked Robert why he was chosen. Robert revealed that while Andy may have been an underdog candidate, there is something about an underdog that inspires people. If Andy can meet the challenges of his position, it might inspire the rest of the office workers to perform better themselves.

Answer: Charlie Day

With the popularity of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and his comedy movie "Horrible Bosses", Day was invited to host an episode of "Saturday Night Live". While on the show he was reunited with "Horrible Bosses" cast mate Jason Sudeikis, a repertory player on the variety show.

He also took the opportunity to announce his wife's pregnancy. His wife also appears on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", as a waitress who wants nothing to do with his character.

Answer: Football

Fitting for a fall show, the players compete in a fantasy football league. The show has even had several football stars, like Antonio Gates and Chad Ochocinco, make guest starring appearances. The friends who make up the league seem to have a difficult time separating fantasy from real life, as their fantasy teams often take precedence over their real lives. One of the main characters is almost fired for spending too much time on his team at work, but quickly agrees to help his boss out with his own fantasy team in order to keep his job.

Answer: John Casey

Casey is a big fan of the former President, proudly displaying his picture in his home and taking careful pains to make sure it appears straight and orderly. While Chuck harbors a dislike for guns, Casey is able to use his gun expertise to save the team on many missions.

Despite his militaristic attitude, Casey is shown to care deeply about his team members. When Chuck is order to kill a known terrorist despite his aversion to violence, Casey secretly carries out the order so that Chuck can keep his job and his conscience.
