The three wheel van is just as famous as any of the characters in the show, it is part of the show's folklore as Del and Rodney have had the van since the beginning of the first series. The van also got Del arrested in the "Dates" episode. Rodney was being chased by a group of punks and this high speed chase ended with a police car crashing. Upon finding the van outside the Nags Head the police moved in and discovered that Del owned it. Del though the policewoman was a stripper and had been hired by Albert as a joke, so he ripped her uniform open and got arrested, thus causing him to miss his last chance to meet Raquel before she left the country.
