Monica and Chandler had just recently started their secret affair. The excuse they gave for being late was that Monica forgot her jacket and had to go back home - unfortunately, she still didn't have a jacket!

Rachel met a cute male nurse while Phoebe was in labor, and set up a date with him and his friend for her and Monica, not knowing that Monica was involved with Chandler. Monica at first said no, but when Chandler said that they were "just messing around", she said yes. Chandler was very jealous, and in the end they decided not to see other people.

Joey had kidney stones, and the doctor informed him that one way of getting them out would be to go up the urethra. He didn't get any further, because Joey interrupted, saying that nothing would be going up anywhere - then asked what a urethra was. Monica whispered in his ear, and he was shocked.

Phoebe's regular doctor was unavailable because she slipped in the bathtub and hurt herself. The on-call doctor introduced himself and then said "By the way, I love Fonzie". He said that the triplets had the honor of being born on the Fonz's half-birthday and wanted to watch "Happy Days" while delivering the babies.

Phoebe asked him how old he was, and then asked if she should have specified that she wanted a grown-up doctor. He tried to tell her he was fully qualified, but she yelled at him and made him cry. It ended up that she was stuck with the Fonzie-loving doctor, since she didn't want the younger one.

The first baby was a boy and they decided that the first son was to be Frank, Jr. Jr. When the second baby that came out was a girl, they called her Leslie, because originally they thought Phoebe was having two boys and a girl. When the third baby was born and it turned it out it was a second girl, they decided to stick with the name Chandler, even though it had been picked out for a boy baby.

Phoebe told one of the "Friends" that she wanted to keep one of the babies. Phoebe asked this friend to ask Frank about the possibility of keeping one of the babies. Just from seeing how happy Frank and Alice were about their new babies, the answer was clear that it would be a 'no'.

She told Rachel, who was at the time alone in the room with her, that she wanted to keep one of the babies. Rachel replied, "Oh god, I'm going to be on the news!" She 'felt Frank out' a little by asking him if three babies seemed like a lot, but she knew that Frank and Alice would not give up one of their babies, and told Phoebe that she couldn't keep one. Phoebe told the triplets that she would settle for being their favourite aunt.
