Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which two characters dressed up resembling cowboys at some point?

Answer: Joey and Raymond

Joey dressed up as a cowboy in one episode of "Friends" where he worked in a department store and had to offer men's cologne samples to passing customers, against his cowboy rival who did the same job. Raymond dressed up as a cowboy for a birthday party for Ally in "Everybody Loves Raymond", where he fought with Robert over who would get to be the "bad guy".
Ross, Frank, Mike, Peter and Chandler never dressed up as a cowboy. However, Robert did as he unsuccessfully fought with Raymond over who got to be the good guy/bad guy for the birthday party.
2. Which two characters dated a policeman?

Answer: Phoebe and Amy

Phoebe ("Friends") dated a policeman named Gary (Michael Rapaport) and the two hit it off and even moved in together. However, their relationship came to a screeching halt when Gary shot a noisy pigeon with his pistol. Amy ("Everybody Loves Raymond") dated (and ultimately married) Robert, who was a policeman for the entirety of the series.
The remaining character options never dated policemen, although in two separate episodes of "Everybody Loves Raymond", Amy and Stefania were caught wearing part of Robert's police uniform.
3. Which two characters had mustaches at some point in their respective series?

Answer: Richard and Robert

Richard was Monica's ex-boyfriend in "Friends" and was known for having a mustache. Eventually when Monica and Chandler started dating, Chandler made many insecure jokes about his inability to grow a mustache and commented on his hatred of Richard's mustache. Robert had a mustache in the past and this was shown in many episodes of "Everybody Loves Raymond" where they went back in time and showed past events that led up to present situations.
Raymond never had a mustache that we know of, and neither did Frank, Joey or Gianni.
4. Which two characters were seen playing musical instruments?

Answer: Phoebe and Ray

Phoebe from "Friends" played the guitar and did so in several episodes at Central Perk (among other places). Ray from "Everybody Loves Raymond" played the piano and this was revealed during one episode in particular where he played in order to motivate Ally to continue her lessons with Marie. Ross was also shown to play the keyboards in one episode, however Frank never did, which rules out that option. Amy was also never shown to play any musical instruments. Peter could play, to some decency, the harmonica, however Chandler was never shown to play any instruments (although it was commented by his character that he was part of a band at one point).
5. Which two characters left a child or children behind at one point?

Answer: Chandler and Debra

Chandler from "Friends" lost Ross' child, Ben, early in the series. He was with Joey at the time and the two accidentally left Ben on a city bus. Debra from "Everybody Loves Raymond" left all three of her children home alone in one episode as she took off to the grocery store. Raymond was to blame as well, as the two parents' misunderstanding caused them to run into each other at the grocery store with no children. Joey was also to blame for leaving behind Ben, however Linda never lost track of any children.

It could also be argued that Marie left behind her son Robert at a gas station in the Southwest when he was a child, however Ross never did any such thing.
6. Which two people married onto their respective series to become regular characters?

Answer: Mike and Amy

Mike Hannigan (Paul Rudd) from "Friends" married Phoebe and stuck with the gang for the remainder of the series after that. Amy MacDougall (Monica Horan) from "Everybody Loves Raymond" was a special guest in many episodes and she became a regular character after marrying Robert.
The remaining characters never married any of the regular cast members, although Richard and Joshua came close to marrying Monica and Rachel.
7. Which two characters were left unhappy after their bachelor parties?

Answer: Ross and Robert

Ross from "Friends" had a crisis after his bachelor party when it was thought that the stripper stole his grandmother's engagement ring that he intended to give to Emily. In fact, it was the duck that ate the ring. Robert from "Everybody Loves Raymond" was utterly let down when his brother Raymond threw an incredibly lame bachelor party. Robert looked forward to strippers and a big celebration, but all he got were some balloons, a card game and a party that ended before 10PM. Joey never got married and thus never had a bachelor party, and Raymond and Frank's bachelor parties were never shown.
8. Which two characters went through divorces?

Answer: Ross and Robert

Everyone knows that Ross from "Friends" went through divorces - three in total. The first was from his wife Carol (due to her "becoming" a lesbian), the second was from his wife Emily (due to his inability to separate from Rachel), and the third was from his wife Rachel (due to a big drunken Las Vegas mistake). Robert from "Everybody Loves Raymond" divorced his wife Joanne, mostly because of her impossible and evil-spirited nature.
The remaining options from "Everybody Loves Raymond" never went through divorces.
9. Which two sets of characters had twins?

Answer: Chandler and Monica; Raymond and Debra

Chandler and Monica from "Friends" had twins by a surrogate mother at the end of the series. They named the twins Erica and Jack. Raymond and Debra from "Everybody Loves Raymond" had twins Michael and Geoffrey. The twins were a part of the series from the beginning, however in the pilot episode the twins' names were Gregory and Matthew, which are the names of Ray Romano's twin boys.
Frank and Marie had Raymond and Robert, but the two were not twins. Phoebe had her brother Frank Jr.'s triplets, by surrogacy. Ross and Carol only had Ben, and Robert and Amy never had children during the series.
10. Which two characters were Italian by descent?

Answer: Joey and Raymond

Joey Tribbiani from "Friends" was of Italian descent. This was best shown in an episode where he had dinner with his family of seven sisters and his Italian grandmother. Meanwhile, all of the "Everybody Loves Raymond" character options were of Italian descent; they were all from the same family. What eliminates those options is that Ross, Phoebe and Rachel were never depicted to be of Italian descent, though Phoebe did speak Italian.
