Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode begins with a Planet Express shareholders' meeting. Fry ditches the meeting to go look for food with Dr. Zoidberg. They come across a Bot Mitzvah, but Dr. Zoidberg isn't allowed inside. Why is that?

Answer: He's not Kosher

A Bot Mitzvah is apparently a variation on Bar Mitzvah, the Jewish rite of passage, except it's celebrated by Robots. Dr. Zoidberg is a strange alien hybrid of several different kinds of mollusks and shellfish - animals which aren't Kosher for Jews. Of course, Humans aren't Kosher either, but that's beside the point.

The funniest thing is that of all the characters on Futurama, Dr. Zoidberg is characterized as stereotypically Jewish.
2. According to Hermes' presentation, how much profit has Planet Express made from its deliveries in the past year?

Answer: About $4

He shows a pie-chart representing profits, with about 1/3 of the pie showing profits from deliveries, and 2/3 of the pie showing an $8 bank error in their favor. Of course it does beg the question of where Professor Farnsworth's immense personal fortune has disappeared to (it's mentioned in several other episodes). Maybe it never existed?
3. Fry goes into a room where a support group for cryogenically frozen people is being held. Why does he go inside?

Answer: Because they've got free food

Fry notices the sign, and exclaims "Wow, this is perfect for me!". Naturally, we assume this is because he was cryogenically frozen in the year 2000, which is how he got to be in the year 3000. But then the camera zooms out and we see he's actually excited about the "free food" sign! Unfortunately for Dr. Zoidberg, he's once again not allowed to go in for that free food.
4. At the Cryogenic Freezing Support Group we meet "That Guy", who will be the focus of this episode. We hear that he had himself cryogenically frozen in the 1980's. Why did he do this?

Answer: To prevent dying from a terrible disease

That Guy is a sleazy corporate executive from the 1980's, and is suffering from a disease called Boneitis, which was incurable at the time. One drug company was close to developing the cure, but That Guy bought them out and sold all their assets, just for the evulz. He made a hundred million Dollars... and signed his own death warrant, as we'll see later in the episode.
5. Which 80s song do Fry and That Guy reminisce about?

Answer: The Safety Dance U.K Remix

They proceed to sing something which sounds amazingly 80's-ish, but nothing like the original "Safety Dance" song. Fry also comments that "[the dance] wasn't as safe as they said it was".
6. How many people vote for That Guy to become CEO of Planet Express?

Answer: 3

Fry nominates him, putting in his 10,000 share-votes. This is not nearly enough to defeat the 50,000 share-votes put in favor of The Professor remaining as CEO. However, it turns out that Scruffy (the janitor) owns 40,000 shares (he believes in this company!) and he also votes for That Guy.

The tie-breaker comes from Hattie McDoogal, the old bag lady, who votes her one share for That Guy as well, just because she hates Farnsworth's guts.
7. Where does Professor Farnsworth keep his heart?

Answer: In a filing drawer

After being deposed as CEO of the company, Farnsworth is asked to hand over his business plan. The Professor says he keeps it "here, next to my heart". He proceeds to open a filing drawer where we can clearly see a jar with a heart in it. Turns out it's not a business plan at all - it's an escape plan! And the professor proceeds to put it into action immediately!
8. Fry "moons" Mom's Friendly Delivery Company. Which button on Mom's computer console triggers the retaliation?

Answer: They all do

Mom is a bitter old lady who does not appreciate competition. Fry's display of his posterior regions is like a declaration of war against her, and that means bad news for Planet Express. Firstly because "Retaliation" means shooting at the Planet Express ship with a gigantic baby-bottle-shaped laser!
9. What social event do Fry and That Guy attend, to celebrate being 80's guys?

Answer: A boxing match

The sign at the front of the Madison Cube Garden says "Big Ape Fight", a derogatory term for heavy-weight boxing. Turns out - it IS a big ape fight: two gorillas in silly costumes beating the crap out of each other. Hmmm.
10. That Guy and Fry create a commercial for Planet Express based on a famous TV commercial from our time. What was advertised in the original commercial?

Answer: Apple MAC

The famous 1984 Apple Computers commercial has been spoofed several times before, and was even used in an unofficial Barack Obama campaign against Hillary Clinton on YouTube. Except here, once the thrown object (in this case a package) destroys the giant screen, a guy in the audience stands up and exclaims: "Hey, we were watching that!"
11. Dr. Zoidberg sells all his Planet Express shares for... what?

Answer: A sandwich

He's actually amazed that That Guy agrees to the deal, and comments that he would've settled for a hard-roll with ketchup inside. The deal allowed That Guy to control the majority of votes in the company. How did Zoidberg get so many shares? Apparently, Hermes gave them to him to use as toilet paper since they were basically worthless.
12. Complete Fry's quote: "Don't you worry about Planet Express, let me worry about _______"

Answer: Blank

Fry has been memorizing "execu-speak", a language comprised entirely of weasel-words. It seems like he hasn't quite gotten a good grasp on it yet.
13. Complete Professor Farnsworth's quote: "This isn't a business! I've always thought of it as more of a source of cheap labor, like _________"

Answer: A family

As mentioned earlier, it's somewhat difficult to understand why the Professor founded Planet Express in the first place. He's been said to have ample finances, so perhaps he really did start the company as a source of cheap labor - for use in his various experiments, adventures, and for harvesting their organs once his own start to die off.

In fact, that last one is the explicitly-stated purpose for why he keeps Amy Wong around.
14. What is the value of the Planet Express stock just before That Guy dies?

Answer: 107

That Guy is about to sell the company to Mom thanks to his majority vote, when suddenly he suffers a violent outburst of boneitis and dies a horrible (and poetically justified) death. His vice president, Fry, proceeds to run the share value into the ground (down to .03) by naming Professor Farnsworth as the new CEO of the company.

Hermes comments that "it's worth less now than when it was worthless!"
15. That Guy's real name is Steve Castle. Where in the episode can we see his real name?

Answer: Nowhere

Steve Castle was the name given to this character in the episode's script, but it was never written or mentioned anywhere in the episode itself. Strangely, That Guy makes a second appearance in the "Futurama" movie "The Beast With a Billion Backs" - despite having already died!
