As the four men are arguing over the details of their transaction, one of the henchmen loses patience and brandishes a gun. Mickey struggles with the gunman and a shot is fired. It is believed that Mickey has been shot, but instead the gunman has shot himself in the foot. Mickey has been rendered unconscious by the loud gunfire.

Answer: House strikes the examining chair with his cane.

Due to the somewhat covert nature of Mickey's business, he is unwilling to divulge much information about what has transpired. House says that he doesn't care about their business, but warns that, "The same thing will happen again." Mickey replies, "What will?" House says, "This," and strikes the chair which produces a loud bang. Mickey promptly collapses. House with some degree of satisfaction says, "Cool."

Answer: She thinks that they are a gay couple.

After a conversation in the hallway, Wilson asks Nora on a dinner date. Nora agrees provided that Wilson invites House along. Wilson is disconcerted by the fact that Nora refers to House as Wilson's boyfriend. Wilson protests, "We're not gay." Nora replies, "Seriously?"

Answer: The team leads Foreman to believe that he is being paid a lower salary.

One of the team members plants a falsified pay stub on the floor for Foreman to find. This leads Foreman to think that they are receiving a higher salary. During a meeting, House, with Sherlock Holmes-like intuition asks whether their pay-check scheme has worked. Taub reticently replies, "Yes." House notes that it should be fun to watch.

Answer: Mickey's heart rate is not elevated.

While lecturing Mickey on the moral issues of his line of work, Taub and Chase administer a lumbar puncture which turns out to be somewhat painful. Chase notes that Mickey's heart rate did not increase as it should have in response to the pain.

Instead of revealing the true nature of their relationship, House smugly compounds the problem by engaging in a scheme to make Nora think that House and Wilson are indeed gay. Wilson is dismayed and tells House that the plan is either "despicable or illogical."

Answer: House correctly guesses that Mickey is an undercover police officer.

House has planted an electronic listening device in Mickey's room. However, attempts to listen in on the conversation are met with interference. House deduces that there is a second device in the room. He deftly discovers Mickey's bug planted behind the bed pillow. Thirteen is taken aback and says, "Are you an informant?" House looks at Mickey and declares, "This guy .. is a cop."

Answer: He proposes marriage to House in the restaurant.

Wilson surprisingly makes a bold move in their contest to win over Nora. He makes a lavish display of proposing marriage to House in the restaurant. House is clearly flummoxed. Nora exits the restaurant so that House and Wilson can have some privacy. Wilson sits across from House and triumphantly drinks some wine. House acknowledges by drinking his own wine as if to say, "touche."

Answer: "The phrase, "Who's your daddy," comes to mind."

Evidently, the practical joke conspired by the team has completely backfired. Apparently, Foreman was well aware of the scheme from the very beginning. Having ingloriously sacrificed their own salary to give Foreman a raise, Cuddy enlightens them. As Foreman greets them on their way out of Cuddy's office, they realize belatedly that they have been had.

Answer: No

Unfortunately for Mickey, his case is terminal. As Mickey lay dying in his hospital bed, scenes of Eddie, with his cohorts being arrested take place. Despite the fact that Eddie proclaimed to be Mickey's friend, Mickey let Eddie take the fall with the rest of his associates. House notes that, "He died as a hero in his own mind."
