During a baseball game, a ball comes roaring down to first base hitting Bobby in the face giving him the black eye. Hank later loses his temper at the Mega Lo Mart which two elderly women mistakenly believe Bobby's being abused. This causes a visit from Child Protective Services telling Hank for the duration of the investigation he must not lose his temper towards Bobby.

The head of Child Protective Services (CPS) called the Hills' house telling Bobby that the investigation was off but Bobby never told Hank or Peggy.

When Peggy learned the truth she told Hank who wanted to punish the boy. But in the end, Bobby and Hank were happily playing in the yard.

Disgusted at the thought of a sex-ed class, Dale phones an anonymous death threat to the current sex-ed teacher who resigns. Peggy is then drafted as the Sex Education teacher much to Hank's horror and Peg's lack of courage. Luanne was helping her read from the textbook but just couldn't say the words until she blurted one very out loud. She then rehearses saying some body parts out loud in the Hills' house. Hearing Peggy says one of these words Hank spits out his beer and comes angrily back into the home.
Peggy Hill: "Hey Hank, I just said..."
Hank: "I heard ya. The whole neighborhood can hear ya cussin'."

After striking Willie Nelson with a golf club by accident Bobby took Hank's guitar named Betsy to Willie Nelson's trailer to get him to autograph it. Earlier Hank had attempted to ask for Willie's autograph only he couldn't get the words out to his personal hero.
On a personal note, I'd be nervous too if I was meeting my favorite actor of all time.

Hank, angry at his den being cluttered with Luanne's things, reassures him that she'll be moving in with Buckley soon. Buckley later broke up with Luanne who kept crying nonstop much to Hank's horror. Peggy said the healing process takes time and no one should meddle but Hank secretly set up a date for Luanne.

At a saloon, Hank set Luanne up with Wade an all-American football player. Luanne was dropped off at the Hill home by Boomhauer after Wade became "Mr. Grabby Sam". When Hank forbade Boomhaurer and Luanne to see each other, Luanne, out of spite, moved in with Boomhauer.

Thanks to Peggy blabbing to Nancy, people stopped by the Hill house to offer advice to become regular once again. Embarrassed as a manly Texan, Hank refuses to heed Peggy's help via Megamucil and bran muffins. She then tries to use melted laxative chocolates on his ice cream but that fails.

After Peggy's nightmare, Hank promised to get proper medical help and after showing little enthusiasm for tofu dogs and other vegetarian offerings Hank's problem finally got resolved.

Kahn, Minh, and Kahn Junior move onto Rainey Street and step on everyone's toes especially Hank's. After the first bad impression, Minh invited the neighbors to a barbeque which Peggy accepted. Kahn cooked the burgers via charcoal but Hank played nice albeit nervous. Kahn refused to listen to Hank, Dale, Boomhaurer, and Bill's repeated pleas on when to flip the burgers.

Despite his nervousness about the burger-flipping subject Hank said that was the best damn burger he ever ate.

Bobby starts to take on Cotton's sexist remarks and attitude like hitting women's backsides. Bobby told Peggy to bring his dinner to the couch and hit his mother's backside. Peggy phoned Hank at Strickland Propane telling him that Bobby started a food fight at school and Cotton took the boy to the Hotel Arlen. Hank screamed in terror as back in the day The Hotel Arlen was a brothel but nowadays it was a legitimate hotel.

The school food fight started due to Bobby being taught by Cotton about women, men, and school.

Peggy went to Dallas for a Boggle Tournament while Hank desperately wanted to go to a lawnmower convention in the same city. While they were gone, Bobby forgot to put a coaster under his drink, leaving a ring on the table. They later tried to use varnish on the table and it worked, but the container tipped over, causing a single drop of the varnish to fall to the carpet, staining it. Bobby and Luanne hired professional cleaners after the wet vacuum failed.

Before the Cinco de Mayo block party, he decides that Dale's weekly spraying onto the lawn is harmful to his lawn. Hank decides to upgrade his lawn to the expensive St. Augustine Grass making Kahn jealous. Dale is livid and arranges for fire ants to be strategically placed in different places on Hank's lawn, slowly killing the lawn into dirt and or mud.

After being invited to a boy-girl party, Bobby secretly begins learning how to kiss by using Luanne's beauty class plastic head. After being caught many times, Hank has enough and saw the head in half much to Luanne's horror.
