Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the tall-tale episode, how do the Simpsons travel to Delaware?

Answer: Train

After getting angry over a 5 dollar airport tax, Homer puts the family on a freight train where they meet the hobo who tells the tall-tails.
2. Why does the Simpson family go to New York City?

Answer: Retrieve their car

After Barney 'steals' Homer's car, he leaves it in New York. Once there, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie see a Broadway show, but that is not why they went.
3. Who does Bart yell to from the Statue of Liberty?

Answer: Immigrants

'Hey immigrants! Beat it, country's full.'
4. The Simpsons must evade the law in Florida. What place of business hires them while they're in hiding?

Answer: Diner

The old lady who runs the diner gives them refuge, but the cops come and take her trailer (with the Simpsons inside.)
5. When Homer takes Flanders to Las Vegas, what hotel do they stay at?

Answer: "Nero's Palace"

This is clearly a parody of "Caesar's Palace" in Las Vegas, NV.
6. What famous actor asks the Simpsons to travel to Hollywood so that Homer can help him make a better movie?

Answer: mel gibson

Mel Gibson's movie is boring, according to Homer. The two add some gore to it, and kill its ratings, as well as Homer's shot at being a film producer.
7. Where does Flanders send Homer and Bart when they think they have leprosy?

Answer: Hawaii

In fact, Lisa had just put paint and oats on them. She was upset that they refused to help around the house, but she never intended for the prank to escalate so much.
8. In the Simpsons 'Spin-off' showcase, what city does the story featuring Wiggum take place?

Answer: New Orleans

9. On the box of what type of food does Homer find the entry form for a trip to Africa?

Answer: Animal crackers

The contest on the box was years old, but the company sent the Simpsons anyway to avoid being sued by Homer. The wire handle on the box poked him in the eye.
10. What animal does Bart bring to Australia, which threatens to destroy the ecosystem?

Answer: Frog

Despite Lisa's warnings...
11. When Bart goes to France what is put into the wine that the cruel winemakers force him to drink?

Answer: Anti-freeze

Although Homer has had to eat plutonium, Bart was forced to drink Anti-freeze in wine. Luckily, he ran into a French policeman who arrested the winemakers and helped Bart get home.
12. In Japan, Bart and Homer are put in jail after interfering with what sport?

Answer: Sumo wrestling

The jail is a little nicer than American jails, however.
13. Where did Homer want to go before the family got the tickets to Japan?

Answer: Jamaica

He had the clothes and everything.
14. Where in Mexico did Krusty take the kids who went to his summer camp after they told him what a nightmare it was?

Answer: Tijuana

"South of the border..."
15. Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, and Martin rent a car to go the World's Fair. Where do they think it is being held?

Answer: Knoxville, Tennessee

Unfortunately for them, the fair happened several years earlier, and they get stranded in Knoxville.
