1. Toby allowed the staff to open the champagne before Mendoza was confirmed.

Answer: False

Toby wouldn't let his day of jubilee be spoilt by "tempting fate".
2. What did Josh have to speak to Mandy about?

Answer: a panda bear

Donna has "distinctive penmanship".
3. What song did C.J lip synch to in this episode?

Answer: "The Jackal"

This was so great. Apparently, this came about after people on the show saw Allison Janney do it in her trailer and Aaron Sorkin incorporated it into the show.
4. Did Zoey lie to a reporter in this episode?

Answer: Yes

While on campus, Edgar Drumm asked Zoey about her friend who takes drugs. C.J found out she lied and had to try to keep the story a "non story".
5. What does Sam say his middle name is in this episode?

Answer: Norman

Sam said, "On schedule is going to be my middle name from now on. Seriously. I'm having it legally changed". Cathy then asked, "What was it before?" Sam replied, "Norman".
6. Who said, "Yes indeed. Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, Chaz" in this episode?

Answer: C.J

I love the way Allison Janney says this line. It makes me laugh every time. Charlie asked C.J, "David Arbor's a good friend and she really loves him a lot and he's not a drug dealer and she wanted to see what you could do about nipping that in the bud". C.J then went on to tell Charlie about the time she backed her old boyfriend's Porsche into a pond.
7. Who did Mallory say she always asks for permission before she has lunch with fascists?

Answer: Leo

Sam asked Mallory to continue their argument over lunch but she said she wouldn't go to lunch with a fascist without her father's permission.
8. Charlie thought George Washington could beat President Bartlet in a war.

Answer: False

Charlie recognized that the Minutemen were good but President Bartlet has the Air Force so he would probably win that one.
9. C.J had to "get in the President's face" in this episode.

Answer: True

When C.J told the President about Zoey's encounter with a reporter he went mad. C.J firmly told him, "I'm telling you now, Mr. President, this isn't about your daughter! It's about the first daughter and that's my job and you're not going down there! You, me, Charlie and Zoey are the only four people who know she was lying and there's no reason it doesn't need to stay that way.

It's a non-story. You go down there and it's a big story". C.J escaped with her job still in tact.
10. Josh lets Jeff Breckenridge pay for lunch.

Answer: False

Josh met with a Civil Rights expert in this episode who was demanding reparations for black slaves. Josh and he get to talk and Jeff offers to buy him lunch but Josh says, "There's going to be a lot of these meetings before your confirmation. Why don't you let me get lunch this time, you get it next time?"
