Pandora is a rather dippy character who possesses an odd vocabulary, which includes words such as "whizzer", "superduper" and "mega fun".

Indeed, Pandora is an upbeat character who can often been described as up in the clouds. She abandoned her boring hair & beauty lesson during the first day of college, using the excuse of feeling three zits coming on. She later joined the philosophy class, which was taught by the downbeat teacher played by Adral O'Hanlon (Father Dougal in the series, "Father Ted").

Thomas is a friendly lad and is polite to those who he meets. He set up home in a broken down flat, which later turns out to be on Johnny White's estate. He intended to get a job to earn some money for his family back in the Congo and eventually became a cleaner at the college.

Pandora was amazed at the speed at which Thomas wolfed down the doughnuts as her and Effy wait by the bus stop. It was clear to him that it was made with marijuana, but Pandora and Elizabeth continued to innocently sip the tea. Thomas asked to see where it was grown and Elizabeth told him of how her gardener needed somewhere to grow his "tea plants" and how he left them in her greenhouse before he had to go back to Jamaica. Thomas offered to sell some for Elizabeth - a plan which would allow him to earn enough money for his mother and siblings.

Although annoyed that her mum had been drugged after eating several brownies, Pandora's main grievance was that Thomas, who she claimed to love after only three days, had been taken back to the Congo. This came after Thomas' mother found indecent and drunk teenagers in her son's flat when she arrived early to surprise him. She ordered him to gather his bags and prepare to leave.

Pandora later shouted at Effy, blaming her for everything going wrong, before locking herself in the toilet.

Thomas, although being forced to leave for the Congo, quickly returned, much to Pandora's delight. However, during his short absence, and even after he returned, Pandora had slept with Cook. This was revealed to Thomas by Cook in episode 7. Still, Thomas did not initially tell Pandora he knew.

Pandora wanted to keep the secret of her and Cook from Thomas, so as to not hurt his feelings, and from Effy, who had been seeing Cook. Pandora's initial reaction was to take Thomas away from the situation before he heard the news, but this was useless as he told her that he already knew. He told that he fell in love with her and that he was hurt that she had not taken the opportunity to tell him the truth.

After punching Cook, Pandora ran after Thomas to try and explain.

Pandora heard this phrase in the first episode and, after asking Effy what it meant, continued to use it. Pandora initially seemed to throw her morals away, saying things such as how she'll give all the boys surf and turf so that she'll become popular.

However, after meeting Thomas and, especially after making the mistake of sleeping with Cook, Pandora regained her common sense when it came to boys and sex.

Katie and Emily convinced Pandora to go to the ball, despite not having anyone to go with. Pandora simply made a mistake and asked Thomas if they can start again. Thomas then went on to re-introduce himself to Pandora and they shared a dance at the Love Ball.
