The plot around the sitcom "The Wonder Years" (1988-1993) was that of a young boy, Kevin Arnold, growing up amidst the turbulence of the late 1960s and early 1970s. In "Hart to Hart", the Harts were played by Robert Wagner and Stephanie Powers, and their pet canine was called Freeway because that's where he was found. The show aired on TV from 1979 to 1984.
6. Green Acres

Considering that Lisa Douglas gets "allergic smelling hay", you would think that, perhaps, "Green Acres" would be an unsuitable habitat. The sitcom "Green Acres" aired from 1965 to 1971. "Happy Trails to you, until we meet again." That was the theme song at the end of every episode of "The Roy Rogers Show", a western which graced the air from 1951 to 1957. This was early, wholesome, black and white TV where the good guys wore white and the bad guys always lost. Roy and his wife Dale lived at the Double R Ranch with Trigger (a horse), Bullet (a dog) and Nellybelle (a jeep). Buttermilk was a buckskin gelding quarter horse belonging to Dale Evans.

"Mike and Molly" was a sitcom which ran from 2010 to 2016, and focused on the meeting and courtship of two people who met at Overeaters Anonymous.
