Leaving their Pit Stop in a field near Karlstejn Castle in the Czech countryside, teams were told to take the train from Beroun back to the capital city of Prague. Once there, teams needed to take a funicular and head to the observation tower sitting atop Petrin Hill and, on their way to the top, count the amount of steps from the base of the structure upwards. If teams calculated a total of two hundred nintey-nine steps they could receive their next clue. After this task, the teams were told to make their way to Strelecky Island located on the Vlatva River to locate their next route marker.

This task would require that teams use a compass to locate one hundred forty degrees southeast and paddle a rowboat to the clue box in that direction.

Answer: Vanessa and Pamela and Ann and Diane

After their boat trip, teams had to take a taxi to Prague Castle where they found the first and only Intersection of this race. This required that teams work together in groups of four to accomplish tasks until further notice. For this task, Adrian and Collin and Marc and Rovilson worked together, Ann and Diane and Vanessa and Ann and Diane merged together, and Paula and Natasha had to wait to join with Terri and Henry. For this task, teams traveled to the ice hockey arena in Prague 9. Once there, each player had to shoot a goal from three different points on the ice rink; once all twelve were scored, they could receive their clue.

After their task at the ice rink, the intersected teams were given their Detour task. This was a choice between 'Snap' and 'Roll'. In 'Snap', teams had to find three Prague monuments located around the city and take photos of them. Once they brought their digital cameras to a statue of Josef Mánes, they could receive their next clue.

In 'Roll', teams instead had to take a pair of beer kegs containing fifty liters of ale and roll them from the U Váhy restaurant to the Admiral Botel. Paula and Natasha and Terri and Henry ended up finishing 'Snap' while the other four teams finished 'Roll'.

After the Detour, teams were no longer intersected. Their next clue told them that they had to find a swimming pool at Plavecký Stadion Podolí in Prague 4. Here, teams ripped open their Road Block clues looking for one team member to 'make a splash'. For this task, teams had to take a ten meter dive into a swimming pool. Rovilson, Collin, Pamela, Ann, Henry, and Natasha finished this task before receiving the clue sending them to the next Pit Stop.

Answer: Terri and Henri

After the Road Block task in Leg 8, teams had to take a taxi to their next Pit Stop, the Vrtbovska Garden in Prague. Marc and Rovilson, once again, stepped on the mat in first place to take their seventh consecutive win. This time, they received Sony Handycam SR7s as rewards for their victory.

After the Intersection, it was a race between Paula and Natasha and Terri and Henry on the way to the Pit Stop. Terri and Henry placed last for the third time in a row. In addition, they had a thirty-minute Marked for Elimination penalty.

They were eliminated from the race on their third consecutive last-place standing.

Answer: Hungary

Leaving the Pit Stop in the Vrtbovska Garden in Prague, teams were informed that their next clue would be waiting for them outside the Keleti Train Station in Budapest, Hungary. To get there they would need to take a train from Prague's central station.

While one team took an earlier connecting train through Vienna, the rest took a later direct route. Once they took the four hundred forty-three kilometer journey they could get their next clue which would direct them to take a taxi to Batthyany Square on the edge of the Danube River.

Answer: Pamela and Vanessa

Finding their clue box on the edge of the Danube, teams were told to hop into a marked manual car and drive themselves twenty kilometers out of the city to Magyar Farm to find their next clue. This was the Detour task for this leg of the race. The first Detour option on the farm was 'Pitch' in which teams had to wander out into the excessive heat (it was forty degrees celsius on the day of filming) and stack hay onto the back of a horse-drawn cart.

Then, they needed to order the driver to take the cart to a nearby farmhouse where they could receive their next clue. Adrian and Collin, Paula and Natasha, Ann and Diane, and Marc and Rovilson completed this task.

Answer: Goat

Instead of completing 'Pitch', teams could stay in the shade to complete the other task for the Detour, 'Pull'. For this one, participating teams needed to choose a goat and properly milk it until they'd received two hundred milliliters in a measuring cup.

When this was done, they'd need to bring the goat to a holding pen to receive their next clue. Although Paula and Natasha and Ann and Diane initially tried to complete this task, only Pamela and Vanessa were able to follow through and make up some ground.

After this task, teams immediately received their Road Block clues.

Answer: Add numbers

Leaving the Detour, teams were told 'It all adds up to a Zoom With a View.' This was the Road Block task of the race and it required that team members strap into a flying fox course at the Fun Extreme Canopy in Visegrad. While completing the ten-step course, teams also needed to add up two and three-digit numbers to hand in a certain total to the final attendant who, if it was correct, would hand off their next clue.

The number was 1,000. If it was incorrect they would have to re-ride the course. Adrian, Natasha, Diane, Marc, and Vanessa finished this task. After the Road Block, teams needed to go to the Herculean Fountain in the Royal Palace in Visegrad (as featured on the 1,000 forint note) to receive their next clue.

Answer: Paula and Natasha

For their final clue (at the Herculean Fountain), teams were told to drive themselves to the next Pit Stop of the race, the Solomon Tower in Visegrad. Once there they would need to enter through the correct entrance to reach the Pit Stop on top. For the first time, Adrian and Collin, whose early train pushed them into the lead for the entire leg, were able to break Marc and Rovilson's seemingly-endless winning streak.

Their first-place win was their first in the race; they both won Nokia phones.

After faltering during the Road Block and accidentally getting lost on the way to the end, it was Paula and Natasha who showed up in last place. Rather than elimination, they were spared and Marked For Elimination in the next leg.
