He's confused but gladdened by a box of hard tack he finds, saying its the first meat that he's had in months.

When he confronts her about them, she insists that they are nothing more than souvenirs to her. He tests this explanation by burning them, which upsets her. She then begs him to stop construction on the dam. Dismissing her pleas he opens the door to leave for work and there in the hallway of his apartment building, just outside his door, is the carcass of a dead goat.

Recent bad omens have Mrs. Simpson worried, and warns Hyder not to go raccoon hunting that night.

4. In "The Little People" what does Peter Craig hold out in the palm of his hand for Fletch to look at with the magnifier?

Answer: a truck

Coming out of the commercial break, the episode title, producer, writer, and director are superimposed on a shot of the mountainous landscape that dissolves to Fletcher (Claude Akins) handling some equipment. Craig (Joe Maross) arrives. Annoyed, Fletcher asks, "Well, where's my wandering boy been most of the day? You take a lot of walks, buddy." Fletcher becomes suspicious of a box of Craig's and when they argue, Fletcher wins the struggle and peers at the contents with a magnifier. Craig claims he was only collecting lichen, but Fletch sees trees. Craig says, "Yes, that's what they are: trees. I might as well go the whole route now.

They were alongside of a stream that runs about a hundred feet. It's about two and a half inches wide. If you think that's something, look at this. (opening handkerchief and placing microscopic object onto his palm) Look at it!" Through the magnifier, looking onto Craig's hand, Fletcher sees a truck.

8. In "You Drive", what is the license plate of the car that Oliver Pope (Edward Andrews) drove?

Answer: FYH 234

THX 138 is the license plate of John Milner's (Paul LeMat) car in George Lucas's film "American Graffiti", an homage he paid to himself for his early sci-fi film "THX-1138" starring Robert Duvall.
TZ 1964, is simply code for "Twilight Zone" 1964, the year this episode came out. Similarly, S5 E14 is code for season 5 episode 14, which applies to "You Drive".

The episode is about a businessman named Oliver Pope who accidentally hits a boy on his bicycle. But instead of helping, he drives away when he realizes no one saw the accident. But there is a witness, who has mistakenly pointed to Oliver's co-worker as the culprit. Oliver's car though, has a sense of justice and begins a crusade to drive Oliver Pope to turn himself in.
9. In "The Long Morrow", how long is Commander Stansfield's trip away and then back to Earth?

Answer: 40 years

This sad episode debuted January 10, 1964, featuring Robert Lansing as astronaut Douglas Stansfield about to embark on a mission exploring another planetary system; it will keep him from Earth for 40 years. He will cryogenically hibernate on the trip, so he actually won't age in all that time relative to people on Earth. Bad timing for romance though as Stansfield meets a woman named Sandra Horn (Mariette Hartley) shortly before the mission and the two fall hopelessly in love with each other.
10. In "Number Twelve Looks Just Like You" how old is the protagonist Marilyn?

Answer: 18

The year 2000 must have seemed so far away back in the early '60s of "The Twilight Zone", because in this episode, by the year 2000, the show poses a world in which all men and women are required to undergo a process known as the Transformation whereby bodies are surgically altered to look like one of a small handful of beautiful choices. Marilyn Cuberle (Collin Wilcox) however, doesn't want to change her looks for she is content, and seeks to keep her sense of self in a world of cookie-cutter types.
