The girls used to hang around in The Mayhew, while The Archer was clearly referred to as "the boys' pub". From series 2 onwards, The Mayhew seemed to disappear and everyone just went to The Archer.

2. When Jonny kissed Louise, what did he say she tasted of?

Answer: lard

Jonny thought he had fallen in love with Louise in series 1, episode 5 - "Lard". He went shopping with her and kissed her, only to be largely repulsed by the taste of lard she left in his mouth.
