January 8 is a recurring date in 'Babylon 5'. It was the date stated in 'Points of Departure' and the events in 'Matters of Honor' also took place around this date. It was stated in Franklin's log entry in the beginning.

One more rather dubious statement by Lorien. I only wondered, what kind of power he meant, and why he considered it to be a bad thing in this episode, especially because he allowed Sheridan to tell everyone his name later.

The two arms extended from a bright light and held Sheridan while a voice from the off asked mysterious questions.

Many rather dubious guest characters in "Babylon 5" have names from the Bible. Abel Horn was the Free Mars terrorist in "A Spider in the Web", Jeremiah was the cult leader in "Grey 17 Is Missing" and David Endawi asked the various ambassadors about the shadow ship in "Matters of Honor".

Marcus stated that after he found G'Kar. And he was right, G'Kar was in trouble.

This is a great speech. It's a little to long to quote all of it, so I'll quote only the last part: "As a dear friend said to me: If you're falling off a mountain, you may as well try to fly. Here, at the end I offer you one final chance to fly."
