Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How do you start the game?

Answer: Press A and B

Many of the video games start by having you press A and B together. The A is on the front of the wii remote, the B is on the back. "American Idol 2" came out in 2008.
2. In quick play do Simon, Paula and Randy rate your singing?

Answer: No

This allows you to play the "American Idol" game without the stress of being judged. The game allows you to also pick different locations to perform. You can also pick out different outfits to wear.
3. In "American Idol" mode you can play single song or what?

Answer: tournament

If you choose mini you play four rounds. If you choose short you play eight rounds. If you chose medium you play thirteen rounds. If you choose full you play eighteen rounds.
4. If you want to play duet mode how many microphones do you need?

Answer: 2

As the name suggest, duet mode lets you sing with another person for fun. Just like their are awards you can win in single mode, you can also win awards in duet mode.
5. In which battle mode do you only need one microphone?

Answer: League and duet battles

In head to head you need two microphones to play. If you score high enough on various songs you will unlock videos of actual "American Idol" contestants performing the songs.
6. Is there a karaoke mode?

Answer: Yes

You can sing karaoke as a solo or a duet. Karaoke also makes the lyrics appear bigger.
7. Which is not a choice of hats in wardrobe?

Answer: Blue cowgirl hat

There are sixty different hat styles (including no hat) to choose from. There are only two cowgirl hats: yellow and white.
8. How many microphones are available to choose from?

Answer: 5

The available microphones are: standard, gothic rock, light stick, ornate and flames. Sometimes the judges will comment on your choice of costume so be careful what you wear.
9. Can you play the game without the lyrics?

Answer: Yes

Playing without the lyrics is a lot more difficult and should only be done if you know the words well. The score is based more on the tune than the words because I've sang nonsense words in tune and gotten full points for songs.
10. What do you need to do to unlock the "Livin' on a Prayer" video#2?

Answer: Achieve diamond status on "Livin' on a Prayer"

To achieve diamond you have to score a perfect score. A perfect score for a song in full mode is 100000.
