Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Star Fox: Assault", which is not a kind of badge you can get?

Answer: Ally

You see, there are ten of each of the Bronze, Silver and Gold badges, and ten Ally MEDALS. Getting all ten of these unlocks Wolf for use in multiplayer.
2. "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door" has a truckload of badges. Which of these takes up the most BP (Badge Points) to wear?

Answer: Return Postage

Return Postage, taking up 7 BP, takes equals the BP requirement for the other three combined. Close Call P uses 1 BP, Fire Drive uses 3 BP, and HP Plus uses 3 BP.
3. "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door" has a lot of badges, but which one do you get first?

Answer: Power Smash

Somewhere around the beginning of the game, Professor Frankly gives you a shiny silver Power Smash badge... and a tutorial on how to equip and take off badges. By the way, Power Smash is a simply a normal hammer attack with an extra two damage attached to it, but this costs 2 FP each time you do it.
4. The "Pokémon" series has a lot of badges to its name. Which of these badges is the odd one out?

Answer: Cascade Badge

Here's the logic behind this. Each "series" of "Pokémon" games has eight badges, and a standard order to get them in. The Volcano, Glacier and Mind Badges are number seven in their badge set, while the Cascade Badge is second in its. Another way to figure this out is that the Cascade Badge is the only one out of the lot that makes Pokémon up to a certain level obey you (in the Cascade Badge's case, it's level 30).
5. In "Star Fox: Assault", how many badges are there in all?

Answer: Thirty

Ten bronze badges, ten silver badges, and ten gold badges. 10+10+10=30. It would be a good idea to go for them in order (bronze, silver, gold) if you're planning on getting the lot, because the gold badges require a lot of effort and practice. If you go through getting the bronze and silver badges first (preferably on Survival mode), the gold badges won't be as difficult than if you went for them first.
6. Items called Symbols are also in a game with badges.

Answer: True

I'm talking about "Pokémon Emerald". If you gain access to the Battle Frontier, you can earn Symbols by beating the Frontier Brains at their facilities. Each facility yields a Silver and Gold Symbol.
7. Which of these badges from "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door" is the odd one out?

Answer: Multibounce

Multibounce has the potential to hit more than one enemy, while the rest only target one. Sure, Power Bounce hits multiple times, but the attacks are all directed at one enemy.
8. In "Star Fox: Assault", getting ten of a particular kind of badge unlocks the NES game, Xevious. Which kind of badge am I talking about?

Answer: Silver

Something that concerns me is the rewards you get for getting all the badges in a particular set. Look:

Bronze: Nothing
Silver: Xevious
Gold: Nothing

The Japanese version of "Star Fox: Assault" has three bonus games, most likely unlocked from getting the other sets of badges. Nintendo took out the other two bonus games for the US and PAL versions without replacing them.
9. Which of these is not a badge from "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door"?

Answer: Lucky Day P

Pretty Lucky, Pretty Lucky P and Lucky Day obviously increase your luck in different aspects. Lucky Day does not have a "P" badge (one that affects your partner) to go with it, while Pretty Lucky does.
10. Which of these badges from the "Pokémon" games increases the Attack stat when obtained?

Answer: Boulder Badge

The Cascade Badge makes traded Pokémon of Level 30 and below obey you, the Thunder Badge increases Speed, and the Rainbow Badge makes traded Pokémon of Level 50 and below obey you. The other badges can also increase stats, make Pokémon up to certain levels obey you, and allow you to use Hidden Moves (the moves you get from HMs, Hidden Machines), which the four badges I mentioned also do.

The Boulder Badge corresponds to Flash, the Cascade Badge corresponds to Cut, the Thunder Badge corresponds to Fly and the Rainbow Badge corresponds to Strength.
