1. Which of the following is not an inherent power that all heroes receive at any level?

Answer: Mutagen

Sprint and Brawl are both in your character's starting tray at level 1. Rest is gained at level 2 for all characters. Mutagen is only an inherent power for Mutation origin heroes.

2. Which of the following is not a possible area for a level 1 hero to start?

Answer: Kings Row

When a character is created, he or she has the choice to go to the tutorial zone, outbreak, or to either one of the starting zones Atlas Park or Galaxy City. Kings Row is a level 5-9 area.

3. Who hosts the first Freedom Phalanx Task Force in the game? (Levels 10-15)

Answer: Positron

Synapse hosts the second task force in Skyway City (levels 15-20) and Sister Psyche hosts the Independence Port task force (levels 20-25). Statesman's task force is introduced with the issue 9 update to the game, and will be the final task force. Positron is the first task force and is located in Steel Canyon.

4. What is the name of the trainer in Kings Row?

Answer: Blue Steel

Back Alley Brawler is in Galaxy City, Ms. Liberty is in Atlas Park, and Infernal is in Founders Falls. Nearly all the areas in the game have trainers in order to teach skills and give slots to leveled up characters.

5. Which primary power set has the 9th tier (final power which can be selected starting at level 32) ability called Rise of the Phoenix?

Answer: Fire Armor

Fire Blast ends with the power "Inferno", Fire Control ends with the power "Fire Imps", and Fire Manipulation is not a primary power set. Rise of the Phoenix is a self-resurrection power.

6. What level do you have to reach to be able to create a Supergroup (SG)?

Answer: 10

In order to make a Supergroup, you must reach level 10 and speak to the Supergroup Registration representative in the Atlas Park capital building. This is done in order to try and limit the amount of supergroups made.

7. Which of the following is not a giant monster found in the game?

Answer: Dr. Vahzilok

Babbage is the giant monster located in Boomtown and in the Skyway City task force (synapse). Lusca is the giant octopus located in Independence Port. Jurassik is the giant devouring earth monster in Crey's Folly and the Numina task force. Dr. Vahzilok is an Archvillain, not a monster!

8. Which of the following is not a faction in the game?

Answer: Pirate Ninjas

Tsoo are typically located from levels 15-29 in Steel Canyon and Talos Island. The Warriors are in Talos Island, from levels 20-29. The Carnival of Shadows are from level 40-50 and are in Peregrine Island. Pirate Ninjas do not exist, no matter how cool (and paradoxical) that would be.

9. Which faction did the Council take over in order to come into such power in Paragon City?

Answer: The 5th Column

When issue 3 was released, The 5th Column were taken over by the council. The family, while they are seen making deals with the council often, are not involved with the change. The Corporation does not exist. The Knives of Artemis are part of the Malta faction.

10. Which of the following is not a subsection area of Founders Falls?

Answer: Numina's River

Williams Square is the first area entered as you come in from Talos Island. Liberty Town is past that, and The Gaspee is the area east of that. Numina resides in Founders Falls, but it is called the Red River not Numina's River.
