Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. On Medium speed, at level ten, what flies across the screen?

Answer: a chicken

Chickens can't actually fly, but this one does! There are no squirrels or bears in this game. There is, however, a turtle.
2. On High speed, level 5, what flies across the screen?

Answer: a turtle

The turtle moves very slowly. I guess flying doesn't always mean faster.
This game was released in 1990 for both the NES and Game Boy.
3. On Low speed, at level 5, what flies across the screen?

Answer: There is no "Congratulations" screen at this level

Unfortunately, there is no congratulations for beating levels 5, 10, or 15 on slow speed. But, I guess beating level 20 at any speed is an accomplishment because you get a congratulations for beating it on slow!
4. On Medium speed, at level 5, what flies across the screen?

Answer: a book

The book goes flapping across the sky. I can never quite catch what the cover says. It might not be in English.
On low and medium speeds, the game doesn't have an ending. You can keep playing until your heart's content.
5. All sorts of interesting things fly across the congratulations screen. Most of them have no business being in the sky! What one thing flies across the screen that you would expect to fly?

Answer: a witch

This is your classic, green-faced witch on a broom. She comes at High speed level 15.
6. On Low speed, at level 20, what happens?

Answer: Just a black screen with the congratulations text.

Sometimes I think the programmers are just lazy. There's no tree and no viruses at this screen in the game. The screen is quite plan with a box around your congratulations.
7. On Medium speed, at level 20, what flies across the sky?

Answer: a dinosaur in an egg

It's a triceratops. He is paddling his way across the sky as if his egg is a boat. Someone should really give him an oar!
8. The viruses in the game are red, blue and yellow, but, for some reason, they're different on the congratulations screen. What's different about their colours?

Answer: orange instead of yellow

Maybe it was just a mistake on the programmers' parts?
Depending on which speed you pick, the background will be a different color. Low speed will give you dark green, medium blue, and high gray.
9. It's quite a picturesque scene with the tree and the almost cloudless, sunny sky. What are the clouds doing in this screen?

Answer: Drifting from right to left.

No variation here. There's always a slight breeze.
After level 20, the starting virus number remains 84. The levels will continue on until 24, and then each level after that will continue to be labeled 24.
10. You've beaten the game! High speed level 20 was no obstacle for you! Something different happens now. What is it?

Answer: A spaceship comes and beams the viruses up.

It's the strangest thing. The congratulations message clears, the sky gets steadily darker, then a light flashes. A UFO comes down and beams the viruses up, then flies up to the left. That light flashes again, then it starts raining sparkling lights! Strange that there are no credits, though.
