Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many X-wings is Red Squadron made up of?

Answer: Six

The six members of Red Squadron are Garven Dreis (Red Leader), Wedge Antilles (Red 2), Biggs Darklighter (Red 3), John D. Branon (Red 4), Luke Skywalker (Red 5), and Jek Porkins (Red 6). It's the only unit in the game that can destroy the Death Star.
2. The Imperial Interdictor-class Cruiser is listed as only effective against one unit. What is that unit?

Answer: Marauder Corvette

The Interdictor has the ability to jam missile fields, rendering the Marauder Corvette's main weapons (missiles) useless. Unfortunately, Interdictors cannot move when their special abilities are activated.
3. Each space unit has a certain number, representing its "population" of the fleet. Each fleet is restricted to 20-25 units. What is the number of an Corellian Corvette?

Answer: 2

4 is actually the maximum population, taken up only by capital ships, such as Imperial Star Destroyers and Mon Calamari Cruisers. 3 corresponds to ships such as the Nebulon-B and Victory-class Star Destroyers. 1 is only given to fighters, such as X-wings and TIE Scouts.
4. What is the highest level of space station you can have on the planet Ilum?

Answer: Level 1

Ilum can only have a Level 1 Space Station, meaning that a fleet is necessary to hold the planet. One Star Destroyer could probably take out the Space Station by itself, allowing it to control the space over Ilum.
5. What are the names of the Imperial and Rebel ground-space weapons, based on the planet's surface?

Answer: Hypervelocity Gun and Ion Cannon

The Turbolaser Emplacement is really just called a turbolaser and works on ground targets only. The Magnapulse Cannon also works on ground targets only, but is even more specific as it can only hit vehicles. The Ion Cannon is the Rebel weapon and looks just like the one in ESB. The Hypervelocity Gun is the Imperial weapon and fires slugs that penetrate shields.
6. The Rebels have a certain unit that can kill almost every infantry unit in one shot. What is this unit?

Answer: Rebel Infilitrator

None of these choices can kill an infantry unit in one hit. Han Solo can massacre a stormtrooper platoon, but he still needs to shoot several times to knock out each trooper. Infiltrators also have the ability to throw thermal detonators, so they can knock out vehicles as well as buildings.

Their only real weaknesses are TIE Maulers and Anti-Infantry turrets. TIE Maulers can run over Infiltrators before they can attack.
7. My fleet is made up of 4 Y-wing squadrons, 3 A-wing squadrons, 8 X-wing squadrons, and Red Squadron. How many individual fighters do I have?

Answer: 73

Y-wing squadrons consist of 3 fighters each. A-wing squadrons consist of 5 fighters. X-wing squadrons consist of 5 fighters as well, unless it is Red Squadron, which is 6 fighters.
8. What special ability do all infantry units except Rebel Infiltrators have?

Answer: Take Cover

All infantry units can guard a target, but that's not a special ability. Hunt is a special ability, but only for TIE fighters, Z-95s, the Rebel T-2B Tank, Swamp Speeders, and Pod Walkers. Thermal Detonators can be dropped by Infilitrators and Scout Troopers when on speeder bikes. Take Cover allows an infantry platoon to take less damage.
9. I have a hero who can hijack vehicles. Who is this hero?

Answer: Chewbacca

Chewbacca can take over enemy vehicles easily. With Han's ability to EMP vehicles, life only becomes easier for Chewie. Once inside, he can use some of the vehicle's special abilities, but most importantly, he can exit the vehicle, only to have it self-destruct afterwards.
10. In a Galactic Conquest game, which of these units must be stolen by C-3PO and R2-D2 in order to be built?

Answer: Mon Calamari Cruiser

X-wing Squadrons can be built from the beginning, fortunately. What would the Rebels be without X-wings? You do have to steal the Infiltrator Academy, but you don't have to steal the Infiltrator unit itself. T-2B Tanks also come with your original units.
