1. Which of these enemies do you need to Bribe in order to acquire the elusive Dark Matter?

Answer: Paragon

Dark Matter is one of the best items in the game. Use two of them with the Alchemist's "Mix" option and your entire party becomes invincible for the remainder of the battle. Conveniently, the hardest boss in the game, Trema, is fought directly after your battle with Paragon.

2. Which of these is NOT able to be considered a suspect in Rin's Mi'hen Mystery?

Answer: Nhadala

Amazingly, Rin can become the culprit if you get the right evidence. Though, it's pretty tough!

3. Which boss is at Cloister 40 in the Via Infinito?

Answer: Black Elemental

This is the first real tough boss in the Via Infinito. Though, after beating him you get the wonderful Cat Nip accessory!

4. What is the Jumbo Cactuar's only move when you encounter him in the Cactuar Hollow (non-oversouled)?

Answer: Hastega

This is an easy battle. Just take out the little Cactuars first and the big guy won't do anything but cast Hastega. Not much of a fight considering what you had to go through to get to him.

5. What's Oaka's debt to the Al Bhed on your "first" play through the game?

Answer: 100,000

His debt goes up by 1,000 gil each time to start a New Game. So, if you pay off his debt the first time you play through, each subsequent time it will only be 1,000! You can get those cheap items from him even sooner!

6. Which of these cannot be acquired, regardless of your actions on Mt. Gagazet, at Tobli's house in chapter 5?

Answer: Oath Veil

How you answer the Ronso's concern's, if you fight Garik and if the the Ronso attack the Guado all affect what item you get in Tobli's house in chapter 5.

Answer: a Tonberry

When equiped witht he Mascot dressphere, Paine is a Tonberry, Yuna is a Moogle and Rikku is a Cait Sith. Though they may look silly, this is actually one of the best dresspheres in the game!

Answer: Break Damage Limit

"The End" garment grid can only be attained by oversouling every ememy in the game (except for the ones who don't oversoul). Tough, yes, but has the most powerful spell in the game!

9. What ends up driving away the tourists from Zanarkand (chapter 5)?

Answer: Monkeys

The girls get an interesting idea to get the tourists out of Zanarkand: have the monkeys mate with each other! Guess people in Spira aren't a fan of primates...

10. How many Al Bhed primers can be found while digging in the Bikanel Desert?

Answer: All of them

While most of them can simply be gained by speaking with certain Al Bhed, you can actually find them all, if you have patience in the desert (and enjoy digging). Get them all and you will completely understand what Brother and other Al Bhed are saying when they go off on a tangent!
