Answer: Stone Breath

Yenke also has Aqua Breath, Fire Breath and White Wind. Biran has Doom, Self Destruct, Mighty Guard and Thrust Kick. You may have already obtained most of these Ronso Rage attacks before this battle. However, Mighty Guard and White Wind can only be learned when they have been used by their respective owners.

Answer: Wantz

Wantz has some nice equipment for sale, but it comes as a price. He also sells Holy Water, a rare potion which cures the Zombie status. You will need a fair amount of Holy Water for your next boss battle against Seymour.

White Wind can be learned from the Dark Flan which is also found in this area. Thrust Kick can be learned from YKT 63 (Long-legged robot), and Fire Breath can be learned from Grendel (found in this area) and various other fiends.

Answer: Turbo Ether

This boss doesn't have too much HP to brag about, but his attacks are nasty. Photon Wings induce a lot of negative status effects, and Mana Breath can deal over 4000 damage to one character. He can also use Curaga to heal himself. Use defensive spells such as Reflect, Protect and Hastega before going on the offence.

5. Now onto the Zanarkand Ruins, where the final Cloister of Trials awaits. What is the bonus treasure of this trial?

Answer: Magistral Rod

The Magistral Rod provides Half MP Cost, a very useful ability. You won't be able to get this treasure on your first visit to the trials. You must return later by using the airship in order to get this treasure.

6. After completing the final trial, you must fight the Spectral Keeper. Which negative status effect does it use?

Answer: Berserk

This boss fight takes place on a battle field consisting of six platforms. Characters can change which platform they stand on by using Trigger Commands. Changing positions is vital, as the bosses normal attack covers three platforms, and his Glyph Mine causes two platforms to explode, killing any characters standing on them.

7. After defeating Yunalesca, you arrive back on the airship. Where is your next destination?

Answer: Highbridge

The gang decide to talk to Maester Mika. He is not too pleased about the death of Yunalesca since it removes the one way of defeating Sin. Since he is unsent, he decides to send himself.

Answer: Genais

Sinspawn Genais is similar in appearance to Sinspawn Geneaux (Who you fought at Kilika Temple), but he's obviously much stronger! He uses a lot of poison-based attacks, and you must defeat him in order to attack the core.

9. Now you fight Sin's head, arguably the most difficult battle of the game. You have to deal 140,000 HP damage before it uses its overdrive. What is this overdrive called?

Answer: Giga-Graviton

This attack is guaranteed to result in a 'Game Over', regardless of what you do.
I found this battle pretty easy. Use Hastega on your three most powerful characters, and hammer away with attacks and overdrives until it dies.

10. There are a lot of nasty fiends Inside Sin. Gemini is a fiend that always appears in pairs. What fiend do they resemble?

Answer: Iron Giant

The yellow coloured Gemini absorbs Fire and Lightning attacks, while the blue Gemini absorbs Ice and Water attacks. They have some nasty double team attacks. Use armour break and then kill them one at a time.

Answer: It casts 'Meteor' upon death

If you really do want to kill this fiend, there are some ways to avoid instant death with Meteor. You can sacrifice an Aeon, defend before dealing the final blow (Press Triangle), or simply have high HP and Magic Defense.

12. After defeating Seymour for the final time, you continue to the Tower of the Dead, where you have to find ten crystals. What is the item gained from finding the last crystal?

Answer: Attribute Sphere

The items are always found in the same order. Beware of the icicles in this mini game, for if you hit one, you will fight an extra tough Varuna.

13. Now you have to fight Braska's Final Aeon (Jecht). The pillars at either side of him heal him and charge his overdrive gauge. How much HP do they have at the start of the battle?

Answer: 5000

Once you destroy them, they return after a few turns with even more HP. If only one of them is standing, it will use lots of bad status effects on your characters.
Jecht's first form has 60,000 HP. Don't use all your best attacks and Aeons yet, use them in his much stronger second form.

14. What is the name of Jecht's overdrive in his second form?

Answer: Ultimate Jecht Shot

Being an overdrive, it is bound to do a lot of damage. This attack can deal over 5000 HP damage to all characters. You already should have prepared with things such as Mighty Guard, Mix combinations etc.
Jecht's second form has 120,000 HP, and his attacks are much more powerful than his first form since he has that great big sword. Spells like 'Holy' and 'Ultima' are good to use.

15. Now you fight the final 'boss': Yu Yevon. Why can't you lose this battle?

Answer: You have permanent 'Auto-Life'

You have to fight all the Aeons you have obtained before getting to kill Yu Yevon. You can just relax and enjoy this final battle for you are invincible. The only way to lose is to switch the Playstation off!
