At the beginning of the game, Tidus is surrounded by fans of all ages that want his autograph. He gladly gives out as many as he can before he has to be on his way to the blitzball arena to play. Nearly late, he quickly moves on to join the Zandarkand Abes in this exciting game.

Answer: A famous blitzball player

Jecht is not only an extremely famous blitzball player, he is also Tidus's father. Tidus never thought much of him and it haunts him to this day to think that his own father had disappeared years ago.

Answer: 0-1

After a member of Tidus's team takes a shot and makes it, the Zanarkand Abes have one point while the rival team, the Zanarkand Duggles, have zero. The scoreboard changes to 0-1.

Auron, the name of the man, is standing on a long area of roof jutting out over the city. His left arm is in a sling, and in his right he holds some sort of jug. This he raises to the wave as it begins to fall upon the city.

The huge monster known as Sin interrupts the blitzball match and wreaks havoc and destruction on the whole city. It is feared by everyone and no one in Zanarkand can stop its rampage.

Answer: Longsword

Auron gives Tidus the Longsword, telling him that Jecht wanted him to have it. Tidus is surprised by this, and at first has no idea how to handle the sword. He soon gets the hang of it and continues along with Auron at his side.

The boss's first attack completely fills up Auron's nearly full Overdrive gauge. After a short tutorial, he is prompted to select his Overdrive attack. Auron's style of fighting is known as Bushido, and his only Overdrive attack at this point is Dragon Fang. Buttons must be pressed in a set order and time limit as Auron leaps into the air.

He then jams his sword into the ground, causing a deadly explosion that causes major damage to the boss and eliminates each of the Sinscales accompanying it.

Tidus's Overdrive gauge fills and he can use his style of combat: Swordplay. The attack that he starts out with is Spiral Cut. Tidus goes into a fighting stance and the action button must be pressed when the marker going back and forth on-screen is in the gray area in the middle of the meter.

He runs over to the boss, performing flips and spins until he does a final backflip and slashes down onto the foe with his sword.

Auron tells Tidus to attack a tanker that is hanging down off of the bridge. Tidus is hesitant, but decides to follow Auron's instructions. One after another, the two strike the tanker and eventually it falls and explodes. Complete chaos insues after that.
