Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Finish the title: "Spyro the...?"

Answer: Dragon

Spyro the Dragon first started appearing in his own platforming games back on the PlayStation in 1998, becoming one of the go-to franchises for new gamers in Sony's pocket. After Insomniac Games went on to bigger and better things (in the "Ratchet & Clank" and "Resistance" series), the series saw some tepid releases before Spyro made his way to the "Skylanders" gaming figurine series.
2. Finish the title: "BioShock...?"

Answer: Infinite

"BioShock Infinite", the third in Irrational Games' award-winning series, put the player in the new role of Booker DeWitt, who's arrived in Columbia to save a woman named Elizabeth, trapped in a tower by a steampunk Songbird. The game puts a new spin on the formula seen in the objectivist-led "BioShocks 1 and 2", making Columbia a heavily nationalist location.

As such, "Bioshock Infinite" sees the player in a world populated by patriotic foes and steampunk former Presidents.
3. Finish the title: "Left 4...?"

Answer: Dead

Valve's zombie shooter game was released to major acclaim back in 2008, becoming a juggernaut game on Steam and consoles of the era and quickly seeing a sequel in the following year. In the game, you and up to three other people choose a survivor for a zombie apocalypse and shoot 'em up in an effort to escape the hordes of undead. Each game puts you in four different cinematic settings overrun by zombies of all sorts.
4. Finish the title: "Kirby 64: The Crystal...?"

Answer: Shards

The only "Kirby" game to appear on the Nintendo 64, it was a good one; "The Crystal Shards" was a classic "Kirby" side-scroller platformer with a ton of replayability. You played as the pink puffball as he crossed through several worlds searching for pieces of crystal needed to save the Ripple Star. Eating specific enemies, Kirby an combine powers in three dozen different ways to achieve his goals.
5. Finish the title: "Call of Duty 4: Modern...?"

Answer: Warfare

The fourth in the long-running "Call of Duty" series, "Modern Warfare" was the first (but far from the last) to take players into the present day, away from the previously historical battles seen in its predecessors. After its immediate popularity, "Call of Duty" released more "Modern Warfare" games to fill out a story arc. It would do the same for "Black Ops" in alternating years.
6. Finish the title: "Super Mario...?"

Answer: Sunshine

"Super Mario Sunshine" was the main "Mario" series platformer released on the Nintendo Gamecube and it would be followed by "Super Mario Galaxy" on the Nintendo Wii many years later. In this game, Mario and Peach head to Delfino Island for some fun in the sun, but a case of mistaken identities forces Mario to clean up a ton of icky pollution as a form of community service.

He does, of course, and eventually finds Bowser behind the whole thing, as is the norm.
7. Finish the title: "Silent Hill...?"

Answer: Homecoming

Available on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, "Homecoming" may not have been the most popular title in this survival horror series, but it did dive a bit more into the mythology of the series. The sixth game to be released in the canon, you played as soldier Alex Shepherd, returning home from war and stumbling into a version of Silent Hill reflecting his own inner turmoil.
8. Finish the title: "Dance Dance Revolution...?"

Answer: Extreme

"Dance Dance Revolution: Extreme" was one of many titles in this series made for home consoles and arcades, and one of the most famous at the peak of its popularity in North America. Loaded with numerous original songs by Bemani artists and famous musicians, "DDR" was one of the earlier rhythm-based games to get players moving; you needed to step on directional pads (up, down, left, right) in the proper sequence as shown on screen to complete the songs.
9. Finish the title: "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of...?"

Answer: Memories

Originally only appearing on the Game Boy Advance, "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories" was one of the few non-Sony "Kingdom Hearts" games, returning to the Disney-themed worlds of the series with Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy. While the original games in the series involved hack-and-slash RPG combat, "Chain of Memories" introduced battles built around the use of a card system.

It was not as well-received as the main games in the series, but helped to fill the story gaps between games one and two.
10. Finish the title: "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's...?"

Answer: Mask

The second of two "Legend of Zelda" games to release on the Nintendo 64, "Majora's Mask" went a bit more out of the box than its predecessor, "Ocarina of Time", sending Link on a journey far from Hyrule and to the land of Termina to prevent the moon from colliding with the planet after a three day time period. Fortunately, using the Ocarina of Time, he would be able to restart the clock.
