Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. One of the original three campaigns is required to be able to play "Guild Wars: Eye of the North". However, you must be a certain level in order to enter the campaign. What level is this?

Answer: 10

The quests to enter the "Eye of the North" story arc can be obtained from Lion's Arch, Kaineng Centre, and Kamadan. The expansion is designed for level 20 characters, but the minumum level requirement is 10. Characters entering below level 20 will be affected by "Journey to the North", which boosts their health, energy and attribute points to that of a level 20 character.
2. The campaign revolves around a huge story arc, and sees players gaining the alliance of four races to fight the Great Destroyer. These four races are the Ebon Vanguard, the Norn, the Dwarves, and which other?

Answer: Asura

The Asura are extremely intelligent creatures who originally made their habitat underground. When the Destroyers were unleashed upon Tyria, they rose to the surface, overwhelmed by the sheer forces. Along with the other races, the Asura provide a new armor type, and a new mini-game called Polymock, which is based loosely around "Pokemon".
3. "Eye of the North" brings with it ten new heroes, one for each profession. When starting the campaign for the first time, which two heroes are unlocked when you complete either "What Lies Beneath", "I Feel the Earth Move Under Cantha's Feet" or "Hole of Istan"?

Answer: Vekk & Ogden Stonehealer

Vekk is an Asuran elementalist hero, who, like many of the Asura, has a tendency to 'look down' upon everyone, which is ironic. Ogden Stonehealer is a Dwarven monk who became skilled in the art of healing from a young age. These two heroes are valuable additions to level 10 players, and also to players who are not from Elona.
4. When you think of "World of Warcraft", a name springs to mind: Leeroy Jenkins, who famously ran into battle yelling his name, unaware of the meticulous stratagem that had been carefully planned out by his teammates beforehand. "Guild Wars: Eye of the North" has parodied Leeroy Jenkins, so what is his name? (NOTE: You'll find him in Gunnar's Hold.)

Answer: Kilroy Stonekin

Kilroy Stonekin is involved in a few quests that introduce the player to Dwarven Boxing. A popular strategy for players trying to achieve the Survivor title (that is, get to level 20 without dying) is to make it to Gunnar's Hold, and take one of the quests that Kilroy offers.

This is a solo quest, which replaces the player's skills with special brawling skills, so brass knuckles must be equipped to use them. This quest provides the player with upwards of 100XP per kill, (and there are plenty of enemies to kill), allowing a much faster way of reaching level 20.

However, if the player should lose all their health, they will not die - they simply have been 'knocked out'. The player must regain all their energy within ten seconds by repeatedly clicking a skill.

Then, they get up and can start fighting again. If a player is under the effects of an Insight scroll, the amount of XP gained will be even greater.
5. How many types of Destroyer are there (not including the Great Destroyer and the Disc of Chaos)?

Answer: Twelve

There are twelve types of Destroyer that can be encountered throughout the game. They are: Destroyer of Bones, Destroyer of Flesh, Destroyer of Sinew, Destroyer of Earth, Destroyer of Compassion, Destroyer of Deeds, Destroyer of Hordes, Destroyer of Hope, Destroyer of Thoughts, Destroyer of Lives, Destroyer Tremor, and Destroyer of Souls. Perhaps the key feature of Destroyers is that they are highly immune to fire damage, so Elementalists would be better off changing to a Water Magic build.
6. The Hall of Monuments is only accessible from which outpost?

Answer: Eye of the North

The Hall of Monuments can display tapestries to recognize achievements that the player has attained. The monuments include displaying minipets, destroyer weapons, elite armour sets, and titles. According to the "Guild Wars" website, the Hall is designed to be a 'bridge' between the original "Guild Wars" series and the upcoming "Guild Wars 2", and will allow players to port achievements to the new game to unlock bonuses.
7. "Guild Wars: Eye of the North" introduced the concept of dungeons. Which of these is NOT a dungeon in the game?

Answer: Skydawn Caves

Dungeons are chained instances beneath the surface of Tyria that provide challenges for experienced players. At the end of each, once the dungeon's boss has been slain, a chest will spawn containing rare items for each party member. There are a few dungeons which can be 'run' by one player, typically a monk. Once such example of this is Cathedral of Flames, which, once mastered, can take around 30 minutes.
8. Who is the King of the Dwarves?

Answer: Jalis Ironhammer

Jalis Ironhammer is the King of the Dwarven race, and Brechnar is his brother, who sacrificed himself in the events of the "Prophecies" campaign. The voice of King Jalis belongs to Paul Eiding, who is known for providing the voice of Colonel Campbell in the "Metal Gear Solid" series, and also Zeus in "God of War".
9. From which outpost can the final fight against the Great Destroyer be accessed?

Answer: Central Transfer Chamber

Central Transfer Chamber is the hub of the Depths, where the final battle can be accessed. Glint's Challenge can be accessed from here also, as well as crafters which can craft rare items, such as Destroyer Gauntlets and Chaos Gloves.
10. When you finally defeat the Great Destroyer, where are you transported to, and what do you receive there, respectively?

Answer: Battledepths & Droknar's Key

Indeed, players are transported to an instance of Battledepths, where all the characters encountered through the course of the storyline await, to applaud you on your efforts. By speaking to the ghost of Droknar, you can receive Droknar's Key, which allows you access to ONE exclusive end-game weapon. Choose wisely, as you can only ever obtain one key per character, no matter how many times you complete the final quest in the campaign.

Thanks for playing! I hope you had fun.
