"Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (PC) Quiz

Answer: Hogwarts Express

The game begins when Harry, Hermione, and Ron are on the Hogwarts Express. They discuss Sirius Black, an escapee from Azkaban, the wizard prison. During this discussion, Ron's rat Scabbers runs away from them into another part of the train. It is up to the trio to rescue Scabbers.
This acts as a tutorial to the game. The player gets a chance to play as Harry, Hermione, and Ron as they re-learn old spells: Alohamora (unlocks a door), Depulso (moves an inanimate object away), Lumos (provides light to a dark space), and Rictusempra (tosses a moving object backwards).

Answer: Carpe Retractum

Ron is the only one to use the Carpe Retractum spell, which is used to either bring Ron close to objects or to bring objects close to Ron. Whenever a situation requires the use of that spell, Ron is always the character that the player is in control of.
Likewise, Hermione is the only one that is able to use the Lapifors or Draconius spell and Harry is the only one who is able to use the Glacius spell. This is because only one of the three characters participates in the challenge in which the spell is being taught. In Ron's case, he is taught the spell during Professor Lupin's Defense Against the Dark Arts class. (For Hermione, it is during Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class. For Harry, it is during Professor Flitwick's Charms class).
On the other hand, anyone can use the Rictusempra spell.

The Draconifors spell is used to control a dragon. The spell is used during Hermione's lesson, her final exam, and when she and Harry rescue Buckbeak the hippogriff. The spell lasts until either a task is completed, which is usually done by having the dragon breathe fire on a fireplace, or when the player decides to end the spell.

Imps are encountered multiple times during the game. These creatures throw wizard crackers at someone, and if they touch that person, he/she loses stamina. After these wizard crackers hit the ground, they grow in size until they explode. If someone is too close to them, he/she loses stamina. A wizard must grab these wizard crackers and toss them towards the imps prior to the crackers exploding in order to defeat the imps.
Imps appear, among other places, in each of the trio's individual lessons, Harry's and Ron's final exam, and when Harry and Hermione save Buckbeak.

Answer: Yes, although it is not part of a challenge

Quidditch once again makes an appearance in a "Harry Potter" game. However, unlike in the previous two games, the player does not need to do anything. It is merely part of a cut scene (a scene in a video game with only narration and no actual playing).

The match is against Slytherin and not Hufflepuff like in the book. However, similar to the book, Harry faints after seeing a dog, which he believes to be the Grim, an omen of death. He regains consciousness in the hospital wing.

Answer: Gryffindor Tower

Fred and George's shop can be found in Gryffindor Tower. Despite the fact that this should mean that only Gryffindors can enter the shop, non-Gryffindor students can be seen in the shop and can be heard talking about visiting the shop.
Fred and George offer a variety of objects in exchange for currency (in this case, currency is Bertie Bott's beans, chocolate frogs, or cauldron cakes). While at the shop, Harry can buy wizard cards (there are a total of 80 cards in the game), passwords for secret corridors (there are a total of eight passwords-one for each floor of Hogwarts), or exchange beans for other currency.
However, Harry can earn cards by other means, such as completing a side task, trading with other students, or finding them around Hogwarts whether that's out in the open or in hidden spots (like a chest or a suit of armor).

Harry, Hermione, and Ron each take a final exam based on their individual lessons. During each final exam, there are five challenge stars. To get a perfect score, they must collect all five stars. As long as they reach the end, they may continue the game.

However, if a player wants 100% completion on the game, then all five must be collected. They may come back at any time to try to get the remaining challenge stars.

Answer: Hermione's

Hermione's final exam with Professor McGonagall consists of a timed part. After passing the Lapifors portion of the exam, Hermione must use the Draconifors spell. When the dragon makes contact with the fireball, a timer starts ticking. The dragon must make it to a certain section for the timer to reset.

This process repeats several times. If the dragon doesn't make it to the location when time runs out, Hermione must begin the dragon portion of the final exam again.

Answer: Clean up potion messes

There are three side tasks during the game (all those listed except cleaning up potion messes).
As Harry, Hermione, and Ron approach Care of Magical Creatures class, a female tells them of a pixie infestation. To get rid of this, the trio must cast a spell on the well to get the pixies angry. Then, the trio must cast a spell on the pixies to get rid of them. Doing so causes Harry to receive one of 80 wizard cards.
After Care of Magical Creatures class, Harry is given the option to ride Buckbeak again. Each time Harry must guide Buckbeak through a number of rings.
On the ways to Charms class, the trio is informed that pages from the Monster Book of Monsters are attacking students. It is up to them to cast a spell on the pages to get them to go away.
The player can perform any of these side tasks up to five times, and each time a different wizard card is given to Harry. Each time the task is completed, the next attempt at the task becomes more difficult.

Answer: Professor Trelawney

Professor Trelawney, the Divination teacher, does not appear in this video game. She won't appear until "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", and in that game, only her voice is heard. This means that Harry does not hear the prophecy about Voldemort's servant, Peter Pettigrew, returning to him. Professor Lupin, Peter, and Sirius all make appearances and while the Marauder's Map does make an appearance, it is not explained that they helped create it.

It is mentioned that the three of them, along with Harry's father James, were friends at school. Peter murdered thirteen people but framed Sirius for the crime, resulting in Sirius spending all the years since at Azkaban. Peter manages to escape when Lupin transforms into a werewolf.
