Defeating the Hornets will reward Vahn with Honey, which will boost all of a character's stats by 4. It can also be given to Nene, who will then bake a cake with the Honey. The Earth Seru Palma can be purchased from the Muscle Dome for 100,000 coins. The Water Seru Mule can be purchased at the Fishing Hole for 20,000 points.

The Ivory Book is an accessory which boosts your chances of catching a Seru by 30%

The Viguro (x2) battle is considered a boss fight, though the player has a slim chance of acquiring the Seru as a summon much earlier here, much earlier than Dohati's Castle or Ratayu. However, its Plasma Storm consumes 64 MP and is likely of little use on any other enemy in the near future other than the boss Berserker.

Juggernaut's Dark Eclipse consumes 255 MP and is the player's version of Prince Cort's Evil Seru Magic when he calls upon it. Jedo will kill non-bosses 100 percent of the time, while Aluru and Nighto are much more unreliable.
