1. What is the first town in the game? (HINT: There is no Pokemon Center or Pokemart in this town.)

Answer: Littleroot Town

New Bark Town is the first town in "Pokemon Gold" and "Silver". Petalburg City is a city north of Littleroot, where your Dad, Norman's gym is. Floaroma Town is in Sinnoh.

2. Which routes are on either side of Pacifidlog Town? (HINT: They are both aquatic routes in the south of the region.)

Answer: Route 131 and Route 132

Route 132 and Route 130 are relatively far apart. 118 and 117 are on the left an right of Mauville City. 237 and 462 aren't even route numbers, since the highest number is 230 in Sinnoh.

3. Which two towns are near the volcano, Mt. Chimney?

Answer: Fallarbor Town and Lavaridge Town

Meteor Falls is fairly close to Mt. Chimney, but it is not a town. Mauville and Lilycove are both far away from the volcano. Fallarbor is an ash covered town to the north, and Lavaridge is a town famous for its hot springs.

4. Scorched Slab is a cave under a route, but which?

Answer: Route 120

Scorched Slab is a cave that has been expanded since the original games. You can now catch Heatran there at Level 50.

5. Which location is different depending on which version of the game you have?

Answer: Team Magma/Aqua Base

Team Magma Base is only in Omega Ruby, while Team Aqua Base is in Alpha Sapphire. The evil team has a base in their game while the good team does not.

6. What shortcut is blocked off the first time you arrive?

Answer: Rusturf Tunnel

Rusturf Tunnel is originally blocked when you first see it from the Rustboro side. By the time you get to the side in Verdanturf Town, you can use Rock Smash on the rocks to clear the way.

Answer: Sea Mauville

Sea Mauville is an abandoned ship on the side of Route 108. Spiritomb can be found inside one of the rooms, while Hoopa's rings brought Ho-oh to the end of one of the crane arms and Lugia to the underwater room with the Scanner.

Answer: Southeast Hoenn

The Battle Resort is a post-game challenge on a small island. It is home to the Battle Maison, a facility similar to the Battle Tower from "Ruby" and "Sapphire".

9. Sometimes there will be a Mirage Spot when riding Latios or Latias. They can be from Streetpass, but there are also some places with legendary Pokemon. How many Mirage Spots have legendaries?

Answer: Eight

Crescent Isle, Fabled Cave, Gnarled Den, Nameless Cavern, Pathless Plain, Trackless Forest and two strange shapes in the sky all have legendary Pokemon waiting inside. In one game alone, up to sixteen Pokemon can be caught.

Answer: Mauville City

Mauville City has been transformed from a relatively rural town into a large city resembling a shopping mall. While many features were added, the Game Corner was removed, due to its absence since "HeartGold" and "Soulsilver".
