Question 1 of 10
1. Mario is an obvious perfect attendance character, what with his patriotism and all. He grows in size by taunting without requiring a mushroom and shows off a few stages from his own games. But he suffers from memory loss as to which of his rivals are raring to oppose him and the doctor didn't make the cut to jog his memory! Who doesn't bother showing up to foil Mario's plans? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. This heroic youth should have the King of Hyrule's approval of him, considering he's saved Princess Zelda about a dozen times. Indeed, Link proudly returns to represent his homeland, but is confounded by the numerous homelands he has had and can't place which one doesn't belong in 'Brawl'. Which one is it? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. The friendliest mammal in all the world, Donkey Kong loves resting... but more importantly his bananas. King K. Rool sure suffered a painful and embarrassing loss on his very own ship when clobbered by Donkey Kong, yet Donkey Kong still felt it necessary to bring along his companion Diddy to the 'Brawl'. Now the dynastic duo enjoy listening to the bongos all the while being prepared with rocket barrels and a pair of flaming peanut guns just in case... but one evening in Kongo Jungle, the two are surprised by a 'Brawl' veteran who used to be their sworn rival... who is this caped marauder? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. From first being found weak and mistrusting, Pikachu has come a long ways to make it where he is today. Everyone knows of Pikachu, even those who don't follow 'Pokemon'. Pikachu signed up for 'Super Smash Bros.' (the original) and has proven to be a worthy adversary through 'Brawl'. Unfortunately, Mewtwo and Pichu did not return to 'Brawl' to accompany Pikachu, but instead there is a new team of Pokemon who are all for representing the bunch. Which of the following is not a fresh new competitor? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. Hailing originally from 'Metroid', Samus returns yet again to 'Super Smash Bros.', but this is the first time we see her without the Power Suit. In the Subspace Emissary, Zero Suit Samus (not Power Suit Samus) works with Pikachu to stop the robots and reach her Power Suit, which can make the fight much easier for her. She beats Ridley once in the Emissary, but her battle plan from there on out is flawed. When Samus breaks the smash ball and unleashes a deadly beam, her Power Suit falls apart from the shockwave. How can Samus get it back together, before it's too late? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. If you had to carry around a mid-age plumber for years and years, you wouldn't miss an opportunity to beat the mustache off of him, either. Yoshi comes back a third time to represent the seemingly last of the dinosaurs, and in a desperate attempt to repopulate his species is all too eager to swallow any opponent and lay an egg with him inside - or even regurgitate one voluntarily! Well Yoshi's efforts evidently haven't gone unnoticed. In a special co-op event, Yoshi finds 50 multi-colored friends to try and beat Meta Knight and Pit in a somewhat morbid race. What's the bad news for Yoshi? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Copying abilities of enemies since 1993, Kirby comes back to 'Brawl' with a few friends... well, a few rivals, rather. Meta Knight was a trophy in 'Melee' but came to 'Brawl' as a playable character and even brought along his ship, Halberd, which is both a stage and an integral role in the Subspace Emissary. King Dedede is another foe-like denizen of Kirby's series who comes with a loyal army of Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos. But when Meta Knight charges from one side and King Dedede with his army from the other side, what should Kirby do to combat them? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. Fox comes back and brings along his ship, the Great Fox for a third time as well. Great Fox is an excellent stage which flies over Corneria in 'Melee' and 'Brawl'. Back in the original 'Super Smash. Bros', the Great Fox flies through an outer-space-like area called Sector Z. The reason for the change in scenery is due to less camera problems in Corneria... but that's not the only change! What has Fox done to trick us? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. All perfect attendance characters have their own stage in 'Brawl'.

Question 10 of 10
10. Which of the following perfect attendance characters comes with no playable friends from his/her own previous games? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Answer: Kammy Koopa

Kammy Koopa (from 'Paper Mario') doesn't make it to 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl' to help out her overlord, Bowser, who wouldn't miss this brawl for the world! Bowser shows up and boasts heavy punches and flaming breath but lacks speed and makes for an easy target.
Petey also shows up, holding two princesses hostage and using their cages as weapons against our hero. Petey swings the cages and drags them across the floor, jumping around when he feels necessary. Oddly, when defeated, he turns ablaze instead of turning into goop as he did in 'Super Mario Sunshine'.
Wario (from 'Wario World') rides up to brawl as well, in his hot yellow motorcycle. He gets his own stage and shows off some never-before seen moves to distinguish himself from Mario, including a kind of smelly taunt.
Finally, Waluigi is all too happy to smack Mario around with a pair of tennis rackets (from 'Super Mario Tennis') but doesn't bother becoming a playable character. Instead, he waits inside Assist Trophies and throws some impressive serves when released.

Answer: Labrynna

Unfortunately, Queen Ambi deemed it unnecessary to represent Labrynna (from 'Oracle of Ages') in the brawl to end all brawls.
Hyrule is represented both by 'Twilight Princess' and 'Wind Waker', if you consider Hyrule being underneath the sea where Tetra's ship sails.
Termina (from 'Majora's Mask') is represented by Tingle, who rests in an Assist Trophy just itching to be released so he can inflate some balloons.
Great Sea (from 'Wind Waker') is evidently represented by the brawling that ensues both on Tetra's ship and possibly the King of Red Lions. Link is a very diverse character!

Answer: Mario

It's-a-he, Mario! In the debut of 'Donkey Kong', the mission was to defeat the mustache'd mischievous man known then as Jumpman. However, after they have their words, they decide to let bygones be bygones and become friends. The two have since been participants in all three 'Super Smash Bros.' episodes but agreed not to make any correspondence in their own future games.

Ganondorf debuted in 'Legend of Zelda' in 1987 where he first attempts to steal the Triforce and take over the world.
Meta Knight came along in 1993 in 'Kirby's Adventure'. Although seemingly evil, Meta Knight is only a rival of Kirby's, and a fair one to boot! Meta Knight typically tosses a sword in Kirby's direction to ensure a fair match between the two of them.
Marth made his first appearance in Japan in 1990, for the original 'Fire Emblem'. He has since come a long ways and joins 'Super Smash Bros. Melee', then returns for the sequel. He brings along some friends, including Roy (in 'Melee') and Ike (in 'Brawl'), and even boasts his own stage, Castle Siege.

Answer: Charmander

Charmander doesn't come to 'Brawl', but his more evolved form Charizard does. Pokemon Trainer is a selectable character for 'Brawl', who can rotate Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard to combat opponents in mid-game.

Lucario is also a new addition. He is a glowing fighting/steel Pokemon with a movement style similar to that of Mewtwo's in 'Melee'.
Jigglypuff has also returned to get smacked around... and her Rest ability has also been drastically powered-down so she isn't much more than a balloon on which to lay the hurt.
There are a handful of Pokemon that can be released from Pokeballs mid-brawl, both new and old. They help whoever releases them for a short period of time. Some veteran returning Pokemon include Meowth, Electrode, and Goldeen, while some newcomers include Entei, Torchic, and Gulpin.

Answer: Break another smash ball and the suit will reassemble!

Once Samus has used her special Zero Laser and her Power Suit falls apart, the only way to reequip it is to break another smash ball. Unfortunately, doing this has practically no impact on your opponents, but at least you'll have the cannon back. If Samus breaks yet another smash ball in her Power Suit once it has been reassembled, the Zero Laser can again be fired and the process begins again.
But don't hesitate to use the Zero Laser just because you'll be losing the Power Suit! What Samus loses from her Power Suit, she gains in speed with her Zero Suit.

Answer: In order to complete the event, all 50 Yoshis must be killed off by the time the Rainbow Cruise stage makes one revolution.

One of the most difficult and frustrating events offered, whether one is comparing solo or co-op, this event will have your blood boiling. The Yoshis are relatively weak and most can be defeated with one strong hit, but the challenge is dispensing 50 of those buggers in one revolution of Rainbow Cruise. Yoshi sure gets his revenge for the the lack of dinosaurs in all 'Super Smash Bros.' games!

The first game in which Yoshi appears with Mario is 'Super Mario World', where Yoshi makes the quest much easier by allowing Mario to jump higher, fly, and spit fireballs. The two have been best buds since, and were even featured in a movie together (namely, 'Super Mario Bros.').

Answer: Kirby should break a smash ball and then automatically absorb all enemies into a large cooking pot and boil them.

Kirby's final smash immediately pulls in all enemies and items which are on the floor and shoves them into a big pot, then boils them while doing heavy damage on the enemies. After the boiling ends, all enemies come flying out of the pot and various health items can also come out due to the cooking.

This may not necessarily kill off all of the enemies, but the Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos will vanish leaving Meta Knight and King Dedede.

Answer: He modified the Great Fox to make it smaller than that of 'Melee' and 'Super Smash Bros.'.

The Great Fox is indeed smaller in 'Brawl' than 'Melee' and 'Super Smash Bros.', but it still stands as one of the biggest stages in 'Brawl'.
The frontal cannon has not changed from 'Melee' or 'Super Smash Bros.' as far as strength goes, but it is different from 'Super Smash Bros.' in that characters can stand on it (while the cannon isn't firing) to hide from hammers, deadly Pokemon attacks, smash ball attacks, and to pick up items if they happen to fall on it.
Fox's friends fly by and attack everyone, including Fox, periodically. Fox's damage percentage does not influence their attack intervals.
Finally, there is no padding to speed up anyone's running speed, although the incline of the wing may slow characters aiming to mount it.
9. All perfect attendance characters have their own stage in 'Brawl'.

Answer: True

After having attended the first two of the three 'Super Smash Bros.' series, you had better believe they get their own stage in the third.
Mario has Delfino Plaza as his stage; Link has Bridge of Eldin; Yoshi has Yoshi's Island; Fox has Lylat Cruise; Kirby has Halberd; Samus has Norfair; Donkey Kong has 75m; Pikachu has Pokemon Stadium 2.
10. Which of the following perfect attendance characters comes with no playable friends from his/her own previous games?

Answer: Samus

Samus is the only character without a friend from the 'Metroid' series.

Mario has Luigi, Peach, Wario, Bowser, and Yoshi.
Yoshi, in turn, has the same friends as Mario.
Link has Zelda/Sheik, Ganondorf, and one could possibly argue his counterpart Toon Link.
Pikachu has Pokemon Trainer (Charizard, Ivysaur, Squirtle), Jigglypuff, and Lucario.
Donkey Kong has Diddy Kong.
Fox has Falco and Wolf.
Kirby has Meta Knight and King Dedede.
