The alien baby behaves like a normal baby, and grows like a normal Sim, but they are green with big black eyes and slit-like noses. If you have "The Sims 2: Freetime", your Sim will be able to summon aliens if you have chosen the 'knowledge' aspiration for them.

You cannot create a baby in the 'Create a Family' mode, but if you make your Sim pregnant, a baby will be born. In three days, the baby turns to a toddler, and in four days into a child. You can, however, make your Sim drop out of university, and they will go back to their neighbourhood as an adult. If you don't have the expansion pack, your Sim will go from teenager straight to adult.

In Veronaville, there are two default families called the 'Capps' and the 'Montys'. Almost all of the members in both families are rivals with the majority of the other family. The Capps have a daughter called Juliet who is in love with the Monty's son, Romeo.

As you probably noticed, Juliet's last name Capp comes from 'Juliet Capulet' from the play and Romeo Monty comes from 'Romeo Montague'. Just like in the play, Romeo and Juliet are going through 'forbidden love'.

When you are creating your Sim, you can select a variety of different make up and accessories. Children, teenagers, adults and elders can have make up (including males), however toddlers and babies cannot. Press 'Change Appearance' and you can select new make up, hair style and colour, face paint, eyebrows and glasses.

If you have "Sims 2: Freetime", you can buy a repairable car in 'Buy Mode'. This car can be fixed but it cannot be driven. However, if you own "The Sims 2: Nightlife", you can own AND drive a car. There is a choice between six cars, from a shabby bomb to a luxurious sports car. You can select the owner for the car and that way, the carpool won't come for your Sim to go to work and they won't need a cab to go to places. The cars can take more than one person, so if one Sim in your household owns the car, they can drive everyone anywhere.
