1. Kicking off the highly anticipated second season after an absolute jaw-dropping first season, we find the perspective of the series shifting after Season One's protagonist, Lee Everett, dies. Who does the player play as?

Answer: Clementine

The child Lee eventually saved the life of at his own expense, Clementine Marsh, is our protagonist. It is clear that surviving the zombie apocalypse to this point has changed Clementine significantly, as she is a lot more grizzled and matured quite fast in doing things a conventional kid in the real world would not have done, such as learning how to shoot a gun, learning how to live off the land, and learning to live mostly alone. Clementine is split up from Christa and Omid early in the Episode, and the with the duo never being seen again in the rest of the season, Clementine's skill in self efficacy are now needed more than ever before.

2. Episode One of the new season starts off with a bang. Literally! We might have thought Christa and Omid would act as parental figures for young Clementine, but this hope is quickly erased after Omid is killed early in the episode, and rather violently. How is Omid killed?

Answer: Omid gets shot

As Clementine is trapped by a bandit in a bathroom, Omid realizes something is wrong after Clementine's extended absence, and enters the bathroom to investigate. The bandit is startled by Omid's entrance and accidentally shoots him in the chest with a shotgun, likely killing him before he hit the ground. Christa comes onto the scene in shock, killing the bandit who killed Omid, before bawling her eyes out at the gruesome scene.

3. Unfortunately for Clementine, with Omid out of the picture, Christa is also removed from the episode, and would never been seen in the entire season again. What happens to Christa?

Answer: Christa and Clementine are separated when they are attacked by bandits

Even to this day, we do not know what truly happened to Christa in this sequence of events. As Clementine struggles to escape from the bandits, an opening is found, and Clementine is forced to take it. Unfortunately, we do not even have the slightest hint as to what happened to Christa, as the story follows Clementine after this event, and never returns to Christa, or even implies that anything might have happened, be it Christa being killed by the bandits or escaping.

4. Clementine eventually reaches a new group of people. Unfortunately for Clementine, a conflict with a hostile dog has left her arm in shambles, as it now needs stitches. Who ends up aiding Clementine's need to have the arm stitched up?

Answer: Clementine

It is immediately obvious through this sequence of events that Clementine is much more well suited to survive the apocalypse than we originally thought. Unfortunately for those who aren't particularly faint of heart, this scene requires the player to control Clementine giving herself stitches, and TellTale Games does not leave a single detail off the camera.

5. The new camp Clementine joins happens to be harboring someone who is of Clementine's age. At least, you'd think that would be the case based on how this person acts. This person in actuality seems to be a mid teen- young adult, yet it is clear that the group has sheltered this person away from the zombie apocalypse entirely, as their joviality and innocence implies this heavily. Who is this person?

Answer: Sara

Clementine seems to be annoyed but also intrigued by Sara's actions. Throughout the series, the two have a very love/hate relationship, as they horseplay a little bit here and there, in between sessions of Clementine being incredibly annoyed at Sara's utter uselessness.

6. Though they seem to live in a well guarded and armed house, the new group Clementine joins seems very disturbed by the up and coming bandits, and someone else they specifically mention by name. Who is the group afraid of?

Answer: Carver

William Carver, referred to by his last name, is the one that makes this group tremble in fear. So much so, in fact, that the group is in the process of looking for a new living arrangement as Clementine finds them. It seems they fear that he will attack them soon.

7. The day after Clementine meets the new group, Pete, Nick, and Clementine head out on a fishing trip to attempt to get the group more food. However, Clementine spots someone from the past on the trip and is presented with an interesting decision to make. Who does Clementine spot?

Answer: A bandit

Clementine finds a massive pile of corpses in a very gruesome scene, with the worn out bandit being the only alive one in the pile. Here, Clementine can choose whether or not to give him some water. This decision is not impactful on the season moving forward no matter which you choose to do, meaning that the player can take the liberty to make a "for fun" decision here. Would you feel angry and deny him the water, or sympathetic and give him some water?

8. Much to the tune of how Season One's first episode ends, this episode ends with Clementine needing to make an important decision; both Pete and Nick are on opposite sides of her as she stands in the middle of a river, being attacked by walkers. It is slightly different here, however, as this decision is not as impactful as the aforementioned Season One Episode One's decision. No matter what you do here, what happens?

Answer: Nick survives and Pete is killed

If you choose to save Nick, you do so, but the walkers overwhelm Pete and kill him on the spot. If you choose to try to help Pete, Nick is able to escape, and while Pete isn't killed on the spot, he is bitten before you can get to him, and eventually dies off later in the season.

9. Luke would later go on to be very influential in Season One, but in Episode One, he and Clementine did not get off on the right foot. What emotion would it be best to conclude that Luke feels about Clementine?

Answer: Skeptical

Luke is the driving force behind the idea of kicking Clementine out when she first arrives, as he believes Clementine's dog bite is actually a walker bite. However, after this is proven to not be the case, Luke calms down. After Clementine's bite is proven to be from a dog, she talks with Luke at dinner and has the option of opening up to him about her experiences, or holling up and saying little. Either way, Luke seems very skeptical of Clementine throughout the season. Various members of the fan base of "The Walking Dead" tried to petition to Telltale Games in favor of exploring a romantic relationship between Luke and Clementine. Of course, the prospect of this being a thing is downright absurd and frankly quite disturbing, as Luke is a man in his mid 30s, while Clementine is a young 13 year old girl.

10. Not really the highlight of the episode by any means, but a perceptive player might have figured out where the setting of the first episode was. Where is this episode based in?

Answer: North Carolina

As Clementine and Christa have set up a campfire, there is a license plate on an abandoned car that has "North Carolina" written above the license plate number. The way this was presented is meant to show that the setting is in North Carolina, though this sign is easy to miss for the average player.
