Gaige was in high school on Eden-5. She had to leave her education though when she had an incident with the police.

Gaige entered her science fair with DT which was the first design she had for Deathtrap. She would've won if it wasn't for her rival.

Marcie was a rich little girl who bought her way into the final three. She also stole Gaige's DT design to sell on.

Marcie stole Gaige's DT design in the science fair and sold it to the Eden-5 police. Since then she has made many upgrades to now have Deathtrap who is superior to the polices version.
