Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In Ohio, it is illegal to get a ___ drunk.

Answer: fish

Imagine someone had to actually do this. How else would they have even got the idea.
2. In Ohio, it is illegal to be arrested on which two days?

Answer: Sunday and Fourth of July

May come in handy huh?
3. In New York, you can get a fine up to how much for flirting the wrong way?

Answer: 25 dollars

This law specifically prohibits men from turning around on any street and looking at a woman with a 'flirty' look. On his second conviction for violating this crime, a man has to wear a "pair of horse blinders" when and wherever he goes outside.
4. In Wisconsin, giving or receiving a tattoo is illegal.

Answer: True

The only way to get one legally is to have someone with a medical degree or for medical purposes.
5. In Hollywood, CA, bath houses are against the law.

Answer: False

They are, however, illegal in the independent city of West Hollywood, which has a high proportion of gays. (Thanks to Tralfaz for pointing this out).
6. In Florida, it is illegal to fall asleep under a what?

Answer: hair dryer

You can be fined for this and so can the salon owner.
7. In Arizona, what is prohibited to hunt?

Answer: camel

This is because the US Army once experimented with camels in the Arizona desert and eventually gave up. So they released the rest of them and now they are protected.
8. In Louisiana, stealing an alligator could land you how long in jail?

Answer: 10 years

Seriously, if the alligator is valued at $500 or more, you can receive up to 10 years and/or a $3,000 fine. If valued at $100 or more but less than $500 you can receive up to 2 years and/or a $2,000 fine.
9. In South Carolina, if a man promises to marry an unmarried woman, by law does he have to? Yes or No?

Answer: Yes

If you're over the age of 16, you are included in this law. If you break this law you can receive up to 1 year in jail.
10. In New Jersey, a person is not allowed to wear a bulletproof vest when?

Answer: in any of these circumstances

This can be labelled as a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree crime, depending on the actual crime.
