1. Which one of the following is NOT an Australian university?

Answer: University of Central Australia

The Swinburne University of Technology has 6 campuses across Melbourne and 1 in South-East Asia. ANU can be found in the capital city of Australia, Canberra. UNSW is in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales' capital city. The University of Central Australia is one that I've made up although there is a Northern Territory University in Central Australia.
2. Which Australian university has campuses in Albury-Wodonga, Thurgoona, Bathurst, Wagga Wagga and Dubbo?

Answer: Charles Sturt University

The Dubbo Campus in western New South Wales is the newest addition to Charles Sturt University. Many large universities in Australia have regional campuses that allow students in regional and rural areas to have the same access to higher education as those living in the city.

The University of Albury doesn't exist, but there is a campus of Charles Sturt University in Albury on the NSW side of the border and in Wodonga on the Victoria side of the border (hence "Albury-Wodonga Campus").

Well I suppose you'd expect it to be one with a businessman's name but no, it is the University of Canberra. The mission of the Australian Maritime College is "the provision of the highest quality education, training and consulting, and the conduct of applied research of international distinction, to meet the needs of the maritime sector". Murdoch University aims "to extend knowledge, stimulate learning, and promote understanding, for the benefit of the community". Bond University is Australia's only privately owned university and prides itself on a high graduate success rate.
