Tom Hank's character Chuck Noland worked as an executive for FedEx and Maggie Carpenter, played by Julia Roberts, drove away from her wedding to Ike Graham, Richard Gere in one of their delivery trucks. FedEx is a worldwide parcel courier and was founded by Fred Smith in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA with the original name Federal Express (from wikipedia.com).
