    If the Americans call a trailer the thing that the British call a caravan, what do the Americans call the thing that the British call a trailer?

    		In Canada, a caravan is called a travel trailer and what you call a trailer is a utility trailer. We also have tractor trailers, which are just big utility trailers. Then there are tent trailers and hard tops. A hard top is a tent trailer with, well a hard top!!! LOL!!!
