The site in the link gives this information:
Kokomo Island is part of the privately owned Sandals Royal Caribbean vacation resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It became famous after as the inspiration for the song Kokomo, written by Mike Love and performed by The Beach Boys.
It is a very small island, and according to the Sandals Royal Caribbean website, the only amenities on the island are an Indonesian restaurant, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a bar. The island caters to couples on tropical getaways.

There's also a Kokomo, Indiana, but I doubt that's what they were singing about.

Yes the Kokomo in the Beach Boys' song DOES exist in the Florida Keys. It is a resort area on the island of Islamorada
about 25 miles south of Key Largo. Kokomo was written by John Phillips of the Mamas and Pappas for the Beach boys from a visit he actually made to Kokomo.
Anyone visiting Kokomo will immediatly discover, near the Tiki Hut Bar, the thing what inspired the idea for the song.
But you'll have to see it to understand how the song came about.
